I dont normally write reviews, good or bad. But this product has been a real game changer, and I wanted to share for others who may be considering buying, but may have concerns or questions. Let me start by saying I’ve purchased the “brand name” product like this and paid three times more only to have it break less than a year later. I purchased this product as a lower cost alternative and have found it to be even better than the brand name, and at a fraction of the cost. I’ve attached a photo showing one side of my hair after just a few sweeps with this hair tool. This was on dry hair, but it also works wonderfully on wet hair, too! With wet hair, I first dry it all over with the plates clamped together. Halfway through, I finish drying and smoothing by clamping small sections of hair and running them through from root top to bottom. Ya’ll must try this product…game changer!

The media could not be loaded. This straightener works really well. Lightweight and easy to use. What impressed me the most is how quickly it works—my hair goes from damp and frizzy to smooth and styled in just minutes. The drying power is fantastic without being too harsh, and the straightening function leaves my hair silky, shiny, and perfectly straight. I am long overdue for a trim though! I also love the adjustable heat settings, which make it suitable for all hair types. It’s especially great for my fine hair with dry ends—it smooths everything out beautifully without making my scalp oily. It doesn't seal my ends as well as a traditional flatiron, but pretty close. It's not super loud which is also a plus.

I was a little apprehensive to use this product. It seemed too good to be true. Am I really going to be able to dry my hair without using a blow dryer? Will my hair even be straight? Well, my hair did dry, but it wasn’t completely straight. Prior to getting this device, I would use the Dyson air wrap with a brush attachment. Using a brush attachment can cause wear and tear on the hair leading to split ends. I wanted to try this device to see if it would help reduce damage. So far, so good. I feel that this dries my hair more efficiently without added stress. Since my hair looks a little frizzy once dried, I do a quick touch up with my flat iron. If you want to reduce the damage of blow dryers and all the attachments, I highly recommend this product.

I've been straightening my hair for 20 years and this is the first tool that doesn't make me want to cry. You know the drill: blow dry until your arms ache, then fry it with a flat iron, then look crispy by lunch. This does both at once. Wet to straight in 15 minutes, and my hair actually feels soft afterward. The floating plates adjust to your hair so you don't have to go over the same section repeatedly. It only blows air when you're actually using it, which is smart. The auto shut-off has saved me from many "did I leave it on?" panics during my commute. Yes, it's louder than a regular straightener—because it's also drying your hair. The wide plates take some getting used to around your face. But I've cut my morning routine in half. I've traveled with it twice already. My sister tried it at Thanksgiving and immediately ordered her own. If people are returning this, I don't understand why. My hair looks better, feels healthier, and stays straight until wash day. After decades of fighting with my hair every morning, I finally found something that works.

I love this straightener! It took a while to figure out the settings, temperature, to get it right, but it's well worth the time. It comes with instructions and the seller also sends a message with really good tips! I have thick wavy hair but now I can wear a beautiful straight soft look too!
