First, it's very pretty and looks high end. It does the job for what it is supposed to do. I loved the last double straightener/curler, but I could not find it on amazon anymore. This one is very similar. The only thing is that it doesn't grip the hair as tight as I'd like it too. Sometimes it needs to squeeze the hair to make a tighter curl and it is not as easy with this one. It does go up to a nice high temp and has a lock feature for the kids' little curious fingers.

Omg....this iron is literally amazing!!!! I mostly bought it for straightening after my old one died, but after trying it for curls too I am convinced that might actually be the superior function of this thing! Don't get me wrong, it straightens like a dream, but the CURLS!!! It works better than the actual curling iron I've had for years, like not even a comparison! And the curls stay ALL DAY! Idk how, because with pretty much no other tool have curls actually stayed in my hair. I've been getting an incredible amount of compliments when I use it for curling too. It volumizes my hair someway, in a way nothing really has before! The design itself is also great, the color is super cute and I love the digital display. It heats up super fast and shows you what temperature it's at as it's heating. It is lightweight and easy to use and the swivel cord makes it so it does not get hung up. I think my only complaint would be that the plate is a little bit shorter than the one on my last straightener but so far it really doesn't seem to be much of an issue. I also really like that it has a lock for traveling so you don't have to use the cord to try to keep it closed. I bought this straightener because I read many good reviews with few low reviews. The straightener works okay for straightening but be warmed there is a huge flaw in design of this product. The on/off button is directly where your hand rests and therefore you will spend more time turning the product back on than what its worth. I would not recommend this product for curling at all (I know some people curl with flat irons) and I barely recommend as a straightener although it is affordable.

I purchased this straightener on January 19, 2024, I used it about 6 times and it completely gave out on me yesterday, May 23, 2024. This product was a complete waste of money. I had my Chi straighter for literally 10 years before it finally gave out. Just spend your money on something that is actually going to last, because this is Not it.

This straightener is my favorite ever, and I’ve had many! I’ve had more expensive flat irons that were big and bulky and still didn’t do the amazing straightening work of this one. I have super curly natural hair, so it usually takes hours to straighten and style my hair, but not with this flat iron. This straightener straightened and curled my entire head of hair in about 35 minutes!! I also love that it is lightweight and has a latch to easily close the straightener. I love all my Lilly England products and this straightener did not disappoint!!
