This hairdryer is great! I really like how compact and lightweight it is. My hair is very long, so I used to not bother with hair dryers since it would take a long time to dry and my arms would get tired. Since this dryer is so lightweight I can be done in under 10 minutes! I also like the diffuser attachment. I have 2B hair and do the curly girl method. Using the diffuser allows me to dry my hair quickly without causing frizz or flattening the waves/curls. Overall the dryer is straightforward to use. I mainly use the three heat settings (cool + fast, warm + slow, and warm + fast), starting with cool and fast and then using the warmer settings for the ends of my hair. I haven't tried the cool shot or ion settings, but I've heard those are useful for more complicated styling. I also really like that I don't get any kind of burning smell when I use this dryer. With other hair dryers I've experience a gross burning smell on the highest setting, but I don't have that issue with the Anne Betty. Overall this is a good hair dryer and I'd recommend it for anyone. The lightweight design and simple controls make it easy to use and it looks very chic, so I don't mind keeping it visible in my bathroom. For those who have curls or like to style the attachments are also a big help!

So I got this hair dryer because my old one sounded like a jet engine and smelled faintly like burning toast every time I used it. This one promised to be quiet, lightweight, and gentle on my curls. Honestly, I half expected disappointment but nope. This thing is like strapping a tiny hurricane to your hand, in the best way possible. First off, it’s powerful. I turned it on and immediately blew a receipt off the counter from across the bathroom. My curls dried fast, my dog looked personally attacked by the wind, and I swear my ceiling fan felt insecure. The diffuser is a life saver. Normally when I blow dry, my curls either frizz into a lion’s mane or go flat like soggy noodles. With this, they actually stayed curly and happy. I looked in the mirror and thought, “wow, I could be in a shampoo commercial if the budget was twenty bucks.” Noise wise it’s not silent, but compared to my old death machine, it’s practically a whisper. I can actually hear my own bad singing while drying, which is either a blessing or a curse depending on who you ask. It’s also lightweight, which means my arm didn’t feel like it was training for the Olympics halfway through drying. I even used it while traveling and it didn’t take up half my suitcase like my old clunker. Downside? Maybe too powerful. I got careless and accidentally aimed it at my face. My eyelashes almost left the chat. Do not recommend unless you want to experience instant facelift vibes. Final verdict: Fast, lightweight, curl friendly, and just the right amount of chaotic. Five stars, would recomend to anyone tired of fighting their hair or their hair dryer.

I’ve been using this hair dryer for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with it.
