It’s a powerful, modern tool that significantly cuts down on styling time. The 110,000 RPM motor is no joke. It moves a massive volume of air, drying thick hair in about half the time of a traditional ceramic dryer. It relies on air velocity rather than extreme heat, which is much healthier for your hair. The 200 million negative ions actually make a noticeable difference. My hair felt smoother and looked significantly shinier after the first use, with far fewer flyaways. It is extremely lightweight. If you have long hair and your arm usually gets tired halfway through a blowout, you will love this design. It’s also compact enough to be the perfect travel companion. The 4 temperature settings and 2 speeds are easy to toggle. The "constant temperature" mode is great for preventing heat damage, while the LED ring indicator gives a nice visual cue of which heat level you're using. The reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the button placement. Because the handle is sleek and slim, it's very easy to accidentally hit the temperature or speed buttons while you are styling. Additionally, while it is quieter than a standard old-school dryer, it has a high-pitched "jet" sound that might be a bit piercing for some users or pets.

Alright, so I'll admit it: I never thought I'd be excited about a hair dryer. I mean, it's a hair dryer, right? You plug it in, it blows hot air, end of story. But my wife convinced me to try this newfangled contraption with the fancy "negative ionic care" and whatnot, and I gotta say, I'm impressed. First off, this thing is powerful. It dries my hair in like half the time my old dryer did. And the air it blows isn't just hot; it's somehow... smoother? My hair actually feels softer and less frizzy after using it. I don't know how the heck it works, but it does. But the coolest thing about this dryer is the way it pulls in air. It's got this vent at the bottom of the handle, and you can actually feel it sucking in air as you use it. It's like some kind of futuristic vacuum cleaner for your head. My kids think it's hilarious, and I have to admit, it's pretty darn cool. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the noise. It's a bit louder than my old dryer, but I guess that's the price you pay for power. And it's not like I'm using it for hours on end; a few minutes of extra noise isn't a big deal. Overall, I'm really happy with this hair dryer. It's fast, it's effective, and it's got that cool air-sucking feature that makes me feel like I'm living in the future. I can't believe I'm getting excited about a hair dryer, but this one blew me away. (pun intended!) It's a very sleek and surprisingly small unit. It weighs "proportional" to its size, which is both a generalization and subjective way of saying it feels comfortable and balanced in your hand. Given its size, I didn't think it was going to do much... but when I switched it on instantly came on. And when I switched it off it instantly turned off. There is no 2-8 second wait while the fan goes up to speed and slowly whirrs to a stop; it is "on" and "off" like a light. There are two speeds to the fan, and three heat levels (cool, warm, hot). There is also the option to have it automatically cycle between warm and cool. I have no idea what the "negative ions" are about and equally unable to verify that it delvers them. Needless to say, I'll trust this delivers them because it over-delivers in every other way. Lastly, there's no strange smell coming from the unit nor is there a danger of sucking your hair into to other end. Say goodbye to those big and bulky CONair and Revlon blow dryers... this is a huge win and I'll be gifting these to my sister and mom when the time comes.
