I picked up this haircut set mainly for the core tools, and after using it, I can say it delivers solid value for at-home grooming—especially at a price point under $10 at the time of this review. The standout items for me are the regular scissors, thinning shears, and the storage case. The standard scissors are sharp and feel sturdy in hand. They cut cleanly without snagging, which is exactly what you want for basic trims and touch-ups. The thinning shears are decent and get the job done, though I did notice occasional pulling while using them. They’re workable for light thinning, but not quite as smooth as professional-grade tools. As for the other accessories included in the kit, they feel a bit flimsy and not particularly useful for my needs. They may be helpful for beginners or occasional use, but I’ll likely stick to the main cutting tools. I really appreciate that the set comes with a case. It keeps everything organized and easy to store, which makes a big difference for home use. This set is amazing! For less than $10 bucks you get a full hair cutting set! You can barely even find a pair of house scissors for that price! This set includes a variety of items including a pair of shears, thinning shears, a cape, a variety of combs and accessories and a case to hold most of it. These shears seem to be very sharp. They are offset and have a nice, balanced feel to them. I really love the dark gunmetal look of these as well. The accessory items were as expected. The cape is very long and covering and feels like a nice quality. Overall, this is a really nice and inexpensive set for somebody who is cutting their family members hair or just starting out and exploring becoming a stylist.

EXTYQWC Hair Cutting Scissors Shears Kit is a great tool for novices who want to do haircuts at home and save a lot of money. Unfortunately, mine was missing the tool to adjust the scissors. Everything else was in the box however: cape, case, 2 shears, oil, cloth, 2 alligator clips, 2 coils, 2 combs & thinning shears. For the price, it is hard to complain too much. The plastic stuff feels kind of cheap but the Japanese stainless steel scissors seem of decent quality and construction; they feel sturdy but not too heavy. All the tools function like you would think although I did not try the thinning shears. I not only do not trust the look of that thing, I do not like thinning my hair. For the price this is a great value. You get a lot for your money. Have to give this 4 stars for the missing key.

This is a really good value for all the tools you get for cutting hair. The carrying case is also super handy. It’s easy to clean the different tools and overall quality is pretty good. Scissors are sharp enough and the combs feel durable enough.

The product arrived promptly, was well packaged in new condition and with protective plastic wrapping on the scissors and razor, and upon initial inspection was found to be in good working order and free from defect. This is a reasonably priced kit that offers good value with sharp tools. Personally, I did not find it necessary to include the hair, scrunchies, hair clips, or combs. Given the sharpness of scissors, I recommend not allowing kids to use this product. It isn’t some trainer kit for a kid that wants to try cutting hair, but rather a reasonably priced option for adults who can safely use it.

For such an inexpensive set, these scissors are better than expected. They’re sharp enough to make clean cuts, and the thinning shears work well for blending without pulling hair. The scissors feel comfortable in hand and are easy to control, making them great for basic home haircuts. Definitely not high-end salon tools, but for home use or quick trims, they get the job done without issues.
