I use these as a person who cuts their own hair. I initially used just whatever scissor were around and sharpest but these make a massive difference. Cutting my hair is more comfortable and there's no tugging when cutting like will happen painfully with bad scissors. The hair clips in there are great too and I use them the clip up my bangs after a shower to have them dry in a way that encourages more body. If you're just taking up cutting your own hair, these are perfect and pair well with a hanging mirror to get the back of your head.

I bought this set to have at the house to trim my hair. It’s a great set that comes with all that you need, but the scissors were not sharp at all. My husband was still able to trim my hair, but will definitely need to sharpen to be able to cut properly. The thinning shears worked well, too. Overall, a good set and comes with a compact storage case.

I have glove size 9-10... Fairly skinny fingers. It's comfortable around my fingers. The scissors came in sharp. I used it to cut my kid's hair. I'm so glad he won't remember. Haha

Really nice haircutting scissors it comes with two clips two combs and two scissors. I bought it just for the thinning scissors and I didn’t even know it came with regular hair cutting scissors! I’m so happy I purchase this!

This product is an excellent value for your money. The scissors, one for general haircutting, one for layering, blades are quite sharp, and the assortment of associated combs, clips, and a tightening tool complete the kit. I looked at several similar products on Amazon, but this seemed to be the overall best kit available.
