I love these things. These are basically battery bricks that can double as hand warmers. They really work. They can be set to warm on one side or both sides and there are four levels of heat. When I bike in cold weather, my hands are always the first thing to go. If I can periodically warm my hands, I can really extend my ride. I usually take a 10-minute break, set the hand warmers to warm on both sides and use Level 1 for heat. That 10 minutes is enough for my hands to be toasty warm and I can start again. I have used Level 2 heat once or twice, but I never use Level 3-4 as that is just too hot. I'm guessing at my settings the hand warmers might work for one hour. I have never used them long enough to draw the battery down more than 30-40% so I don't really know. ... show more

Ok, I have used these for the last several months almost weekly. I usually only use one at a time. Just because I like having one in my car and one by the door when I go on my daily walks. Both have lasted a long time before I need to recharge them. Sorry I have not kept track of how long they last but it has not been an issue for me. I take the one in my car to a community hall that I volunteer at every week. It’s freezing in there so I need to keep my hands warm. Super convenient to have. I often heat my face and neck with it too. I like that when I’m helping people I can pop it into my coat pocket and not worry about it. The heat goes away almost instantly once it’s turned off. Then use it when I have down time. It definitely gets HOT on level 1. I’ve never used level 2. Even on my windy, rainy walks I keep it at 1. Not to save the battery life but my fingers!!! I was worried it would not get hot enough but yikes I’d kinda like it if it could turn down a bit. I am glad I got the dual sided heat. Nice to wrap your hands around it and have your whole hand stay warm. I was also concerned because I have big hands and didn’t want anything too small. Definitely great flashlight. These things charge fast, are very portable (size friendly), and get very warm. I liked that you could heat up one side or opt to heat up both sides of the warmer. They absolutely get warmer than the chemical ones you buy and then throw away. Since they are powered by a USB-C charging cord you can take portable batteries (like the portable bricks you take to charge your phones/tablets with) with you can keep them charged all day long.
