Grabbed this clipper set for myself because I got tired of paying too much for a basic haircut. Right out of the box it looked clean and simple, which is exactly what I wanted. It came with everything you need, guards, oil, a little brush, and the clippers themselves felt solid but not too heavy. First cut went better than expected. Did not mess up too bad and my head felt fresh. The adjustable length dial is pretty handy and the different speeds are cool though I usually just stick to the faster one. Blade cuts smooth and did not pull at my hair, which has happened with cheaper ones before. I like that the blade is ceramic and it does not heat up too quick. Charging it is easy and the battery lasted longer than I needed. No cord getting in the way either so that helps. Only complaints are the motor gets a bit loud on high speed and the carrying case is kinda flimsy. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing. Also, you need to stay on top of cleaning the blades or they get a little gunky after a couple uses. Still, not hard to manage. Overall, pretty happy with it. I do not need a barber anymore unless I mess up real bad. This clipper saves money and lets me cut my hair on my own time.
