Haglofs Skuta Mid Proof Eco Walking Boots Welcome to modern hiking. This is a supportive and tough trekking shoe with a wide forefoot fit for extra comfort. Upper protection and AHAR+ rubber on the outsole add to the durability. The shoe is completely fluorocarbon free, thanks to the waterproof PROOF ECO membrane while a mid-cut silhouette adds stability and protection. Waterproof Leather Upper The upper of the Skuta Mid Proof Eco walking boot has been constructed using a waterproof membrane to keep your feet as dry and protected as possible. The fluorocarbon free PROOF ECO membrane prevents water from entering your shoe as you walk across the varying terrain, encountering all kinds of weather in the process. In addition, the leather is also exceptionally durable, and DWR treated surfaces help to further repel water and dirt as you move. Furthermore, a suede reinforced toe and heel give heightened protection and durability, guarding against debris and objects typically associated with trail walking from causing discomfort. Having this protection and durability will enable you to move with confidence knowing you are fully protected as you strive for the best results and performance. A tongue gusset also improves protection by preventing water and sand from entering the shoe, whilst sitting comfortably against the skin to reduce friction and irritation such as chafing. Rounding off the upper is a traditional lacing system, offering a secure, locked-in fit and feel as you move. EVA Midsole A moulded EVA compound resides in the midsole to provide optimal cushioning and comfort as you walk. The EVA is highly responsive, ensuring each stride feels more comfortable than the last. This is particularly beneficial when walking on difficult, unpredictable terrain as it improves the overall feel without sacrificing performance.
