This style of collar is easier to put on and off and can be loose, but still prevents escapes as a tug cinches the collar down, but it also has a limit. Quality construction and seat belt type material. One got damaged when a dog chewed up the plastic snap clasp, but no fault of design there, but you can't let that part get chewed while off the dog.

Got this for our newest addition. The color is just like that of the pics. I love having a martingale collar that can be taken off easily. Haven't seen that before. I'd been having issues with a traumatized dog who had become aggressive in response to several "out of the blue" attacks by a neighbor's dog. We had her in a harness for her first 6 years but after the attacks I realized the harness was doing nothing except holding her back with no real correction. Normally I despise choke collars but I knew a major change was necessary. Ive got her on calming meds and tried a regular collar at first but she slipped it and went after a neighbors dog. I put this "soft choke" collar on her and from the first time I walked her in it she has become a changed dog. She tried to slip it twice but gave up when she realized she couldn't get out of it. She's actually become much less agressive and is starting to get her playfulness back. I haven't had to correct her for trying to slip the collar in a month or so but I'll keep using it since she gets so excited to wear it whenever I take it off the hook.

I was hesitant to get this because the price was so good. The leash is so thick and sturdy! The collar is a little big but that's my fault. The loop is also a little large and sometimes my doggo's leg gets caught in it but again, could be because I got it a size too big for him. I loved it so much I bought another for my friend's dog who constantly chews through her leashes. Amazing deal!!

Was looking for an affordable leash and collar for my 5 month lab. The teething is crazy and he destroyed two expensive leashes already. One his other collar got too small I found this set and it’s perfect for the price. We got a medium which is adjustable.

I was honestly shocked at how well this collar worked. After going through several much more expensive harnesses I came back to this leash and collar set and almost immediately noticed a difference in my dog’s pulling. Also works great for a quick correction if your dog has any impulse control / reactivity issues. Highly recommend!

I have a Carolina dog (American dingo, breed was wild until the 70s). She’s too smart and too sleek. We have a mountain cabin and of course no fence. We have a 60’ cable we put close to the house so she can still sniff and play but not run off. If she does she will not obey to come back. My lab is so well behaved we never have to tether him. We are always outside (thank goodness) when we let them out. Lots of trees very shady. Annnnyway I tried using her harness. Nope she backs out. I got a double lead and hooked on on her collar and her harness to the cord. Nope. Backed out of that too. Her head is narrow and it’s not hard. So someone said try this. OMG it works great! Please don’t think we chain her lol. She’s out maybe 30 minutes 2 - 3 times a day and sleeps on a fluffy bed. She’s spoiled.
