I love love love the haaka!! At first I was under the impression that it was a breast pump, but it’s not. I’ve learned that you must be stimulating let down in your other breast in order for the haaka to work. But it’s so easy and quick to place on my other breast while breastfeeding, and I typically accumulate 2 oz at a time while feeding my son on the other breast. It’s great to save the accumulated milk and quickly grow a large stash of milk. It’s also super easy to clean, unlike the breast pumps with all the small intricate parts. I use this especially at night when my son only wants to be bothered with eating at one breast, and I need to empty my other breast too. It saves me having to pump and clean all the pump parts. Like I said it typically only accumulates 2 oz at a time, but you can empty and keep reapplying throughout your breast feeding session. However, I’ve learned it’s best to apply first before having baby latch because it does require both your hands to apply it. Also, I find that I never use the lid. I dump the milk from the Haaka into a bottle and save the milk until I have enough to freeze. So you’d be fine purchasing the haaka without the lid and saving some money. But I love this product, I use it all the time, and I recommend it to every mom to be that I talk to!!! ... show more

Taking off one star b/c it is too heavy - if you don’t suction cup it in place really well it does tip and spill. But overall great product, catches my let down so far it stays in place. Pro tip: put it sideways or even upside down to prevent the baby kicking it off

A must have for new moms but a little hard to use. After my supply balanced out this became useless and I needed the electric pump to get any milk out. I don’t like that they get cloudy when cleaning/sterilizing.
