I was mortified of the condition of the box when this arrived at my home. The box was destroyed. It looked like someone had already opened, repacked, and returned this. I was going to return it immediately without even opening the box. Because obviously it had been returned once already. After requesting to return this for a refund, I told myself that i was being a snot and I should at least check it out before wasting everyone's time with returning it. So I opened the box. Everything is in perfect condition. Requires zero tools. Literally fold the legs out and put on the padding. It is almost perfect. Is the padding like it looks in the picture? Not exactly. Other than that. It's perfect what we need it for. I apologize for thinking that the condition of the box was going to reflect the condition of the product. I understand the shipping process is quite brutal on packages. I hope others will also keep this in mind. Thanks for this! ... show more

I am in the State Guard and needed a cot. I had bought a smaller version, and my brother sat on it from a straight stand. He has one like this one, so I assume he thought mine was as sturdy as this one. Long story short, I ended up sleeping (or trying to sleep) on a cold floor after he snapped the legs on it.     • What I was looking for
The fabric feels reasonably thick, and has a double row of stitches holding it in place. The connections between the rods are metal rather than plastic, so hopefully will be durable. The headrest feels like a stiff air bladder encased in the same fabric. It doesn't seem as wide to me as the pictures, though it's wider than my head so big enough. If I were going to sleep on it I'd want my own pillow. I have used it a half dozen times now for catching a little sun laying flat. I am 5'11" and 225 lbs and it has felt sturdy enough to me and is long and wide enough. The blue corduroy covering was nice and soft the one time I tried it. When folded, it will stand upright on its own without needing to be leaned against something else. So far I have no complaints other than the box was torn during shipping, but the lounger itself was fine so no harm. If I find problems later I'll update my review. ... show more

I bought this as I live in a tiny closet like apartment and had a guest coming over for 2 weeks. So this also doubled as a "couch" for watching TV during that time. Held up great for those two weeks. I sat on the foot end of it to put on my shoes and a piece snapped in half. (I'm 200lb) I figured no biggie with that piece. I shouldn't have sat on the end and now it kinda leans downward a little which is more comfortable for my weird sleeping positions anyway. I packed it up stay at a home for 2 weeks and it folded and traveled nicely. I also sleep on it 50% of the time due to my laziness of not wanting to climb up a loft bed. Beginning of February it started creaking. Like the joints will give out at any time. So while adding a mattress pad and some soft blankets make it relatively comfortable, it isn't made for regular basis sleeping. The cot was great for the first month I've had it, but has already broken at an essential bracket. So long as it's fixed/made right, the cot itself was fairly comfortable to sleep on, and repacks easily for storage when not in use I have contacted the seller and will update this review when I have a resolution Edit: the new cot arrived today, with absolutely no hassle from the seller.
