These are wonderful sounding speakers, especially for the price. Installed 2 in my doors and 2 in my back deck on my car and they were surprisingly clear, crisp and rich sound. I added a sub of course to complete the audio job but you could easily run these without if that is your thing. I am a H Yanka fan now to be honest and will try their other products. I doubt you will find better speakers in this price range, or even double this price range. ... show more

2001 toyota tundra had original speakers with cardboard cones. Awful. Replaced all 4 speakers with these Yankas. These sound great. IMHO, they sound about as good as the JBL's in my other Toyota Tundra Limited. For the 6.5 size, these actually have a little bit of "thump" to them too, although I did pair with a subwoofer later. For the money, I highly recommend these 6.5 speakers.......you can't go wrong with these. ... show more

Our 1991 Toyota Pickup only had a weak or of 4” dash speakers. I bought decent replacements for them, but still they are just 4”. So I bought these 6” and installed them in the doors. They were relatively easy to install, and added much needed depth to the audio. Now even in this dusty old pickup truck I can get fairly decent sound. ... show more

UPDATE: so i bought a pair this past December (possibly end of November) and the sound was great for awhile. By May I realized that one of the speakers sounded like it was under water or something. Trying to adjust the sound away from that speaker and more to the other side is when I noticed that there was no sound coming from the other speaker. I contacted the seller about their warranty and they were absolutely amazing! Extremely speedy responses and in a few days I received a new pair of speakers to replace the defective ones. It feels uncommon to find a product that’s affordable AND has a full warranty just in case something happens. These were super easy to install in my 03 Jeep Liberty still with factory stereo. Even with original stereo, the speakers sound way better than the older speakers did ... show more

These speakers really sound good except the tweeters rattled and it's because they had the Tweeter grill wrapped around and actually touching the speaker and it makes it rattled. I just took them out and put my tweeters out of my old speakers in and they sound really good it's too bad they almost had it right. It sound good if you have the time and patience to do that then these are a good buy. If you hear that your speakers rattling put your finger on the Tweeter and it'll quit it'll prove it. I bought two pair of six and a half inch speakers also. I've had no trouble out of 6 and 1/2 's. ... show more

not sure if i did somthing wrong which is hard to do considering you’re just installing speakers, but as soon as i put them in and wired them up i went to turn the volume up a little and as soon as i did the distortion coming from the speakers was ear piercing
