Even though it was only $30, I thought this footstool would be a bit bigger and more comfortable. The cushioning is very soft so your feet bottom out onto the hard platform. I like that the cover comes off for cleaning and I will maybe be able to add some quilt batting or pillow stuffing to make it more comfortable. The legs are nice and hefty but the felt pads keep moving around (coming almost off) so the bottom of the legs are sticking to the carpet at this point. I will no doubt do something about that too as time goes along. It's cute but would be better if it were at least 2 more inches in diameter, and had denser cushioning. ... show more

Exactly what I was looking for. I read a review that the Light Gray is more of a beige color and I agree. This is a warmer beige color, not gray. Super asy to assemble (just attach the 4 legs) and I love that the cover is removable for easy cleaning. Great quality and size. Aside from the color difference, the product is true to the ad. The stool was a match to my furniture. A neutral color, I liked. It's a perfect height for my legs but a little smaller in circumference than I prefer. I would not let a child sit on it. They could topple over. But its a space saver and just enough comfort for me. I am short so my feet don't reach the floor when I sit on my couch. There is just enough support. I was using my subwoofer under my desk to place my feet - not good! I decided to finally get a footstool that was high because my desk is counter height and I have long legs. This is the perfect height and works really well. The only issue is that it tends to want to wobble a little (though not fall over <smile>). It doesn't cause me an issue since I am not standing on it or placing my full weight. It sits on my chair mat, all 4 legs, so not sure why it still tends to feel a little unsteady.
