I was originally sent the wrong version of this lamp. The company was very responsive and is sending a replacement. The fit and finish are a step-up from other lamps I looked at around this price range. The solid walnut base is a nice touch and goes well with the room. The brushed steel column has some heft to it and fits snugly without gaps or wobble. Easy to set up. Throws even, ambient light which is what I wanted to brighten up the room vs a more focused beam from a traditional lamp. Easy to assemble. I bought a different brand lamp and returned it. Plugged the other one in and it flashed on then off. Cheaply made. Probably a loose connection in the light cord. Sent it back and ordered this one GyroVu 65" Floor Lamp the Option that changes color. A much better lamp. Beautiful color combinations. Classy. Blows the other lamp away!
