The only downside is difficultly cleaning it. The fabric is not super easy to scrub for the price. I bought this for working out. I do a lot of floor ab exercises but had surgery on my knee and my other one is also screwed up. I also have severe back pain since having a baby and being pregnant again. This provides perfect comfort so I can put full weight on my knees and it makes laying on my back possible as well. I also use it as a pad folded up by my bath tub to bathe my toddler. Love these mats!! I have two now for different rooms. I find it hard to do floor exercises on yoga mats because of chronic knee pain and these have helped so much. They are firm and well padded.

I was trying to find a cheaper mat at least 30" wide that didn't hurt my knees, but this was it. Still, I'm glad I got it. It has a firm, dense foam, so even though it's 2" thick, you don't sink down. It's exactly what I wanted to replace my several years old 1" thick yoga mat. It no longer worked at all for my knees. It felt like I was on the bare floor. This mat feels perfect. I used it as soon as it arrived for a full stretch and yoga routine that I haven't been able to do lately. It was prime delivery, so I was surprised the post office delivered it, and a day late. I got lucky and timed it right to catch her as she got to the apt. complex. I didn't want her to have to do the extra work of bringing it to my apt. I wish Amazon let you know if USPS will be the final means of delivery. If I had known, I would've tried to get one that didn't involve them. They have enough to do without delivering for Amazon. ... show more
