Features

  • Update :Compare with CS3 verison, the only difference is that CS3-I changed the home 110V-12V converter to inside the machine. ATTENTION: Please release the bleed valve first after turning off the switch , and do not start it when there is still air pressure inside your compressor ( include during the cooling down cycle).
  • Setting the Autostop Value & Built-in Oil-Water Filter :The filling of a rifle or pistol is hassle free with an auto shut off that the user sets at the desired pressure. This eliminates the user from having to watch the fill pressure gauge as the compressor does its job. It also features the moisture filter which is better for your gun or tank .
  • Oil-Free & Water-Free & Built-in Fan Cooling for Long Life : This portable pcp air compressor does not need oil, clean and hygienic, easy to operate. This will save you a lot of energy in future . External converter makes easy to replace new converter in future.
  • 3 Type Safety Device Design & Convenient Wire Spool Design: Adjustable pressure gauge , safety valve and burst disc makes this air compressor pump more safe. With the wire spool, you don't need to worry about the wire winding and it also looks great.
  • Inflation Speed: This pcp compressor was designed mainly for inflating less than 1.5L tank. Fill a 190cc tank from 1800psi to 3300psi is a swift 2:30 minutes; Filled a 480cc carbon bottle from 1800psi to 3500psi is in a mere 8:30 minutes. The duty cycle of the machine is 50 minutes run / 20 minutes cool. This allows for filling of larger tanks ( suggest max 1.5L) as long as the compressor is allowed to cool.

  • For me, the perfect on the go PCP compressor.
This isn't my first GX Pump, I had a GX CS2 that performed faithfully and flawlessly for hundreds of PCP fill-ups before I passed it on to a friend who is just getting into Airguns. This pump functioned very well for the first few months I had it. It's faster than the CS2, the internal switching power supply is a fantastic feature that really improves the portability. And its just a slick unit. The autostop works flawlessly, the controls are easy to use. And the manual, while there is a language barrier to an extent, includes a full exploded parts diagram, which is awesome. THAT SAID, my unit did fail recently. I still have no problem giving this rating because the customer service is fantastic. The failure my machine experienced - from mine and their diagnostic - is quite an anomaly. Within hours of sending an email they responded and after a brief troubleshooting period they agreed to send me a new unit without hesitation. That is better warranty service than I have experienced in a long time with nearly anything. PCP airguns are still a niche hobby, and to have such responsive customer service in such a relatively obscure hobby is just great. Everyone in the airgun community is still fixated on the Yong Heng compressor. And while that is great for a shop, when you're out in the boogietoolies shooting, its nice to have something like this. ... show more

  • Impressive performance in a solid, quality case.
Compared to my first generation Benjamin Traveler air pump this unit is quieter, more robust and fills faster. I like the quality metal case and fittings. Both ac and dc cords, air hose and pressure gauge are of good quality. Ergonomics and placement of switches and bleed valve are great and easy to use. Overall noise is quieter than I was use to with the Traveler. Quickly filled to my settings of 290 bar. Overall size was smaller than I expected. Very pleased with purchase. ... show more

  • Good bang for the buck, but not perfect.
I use this GX CS3-I compressor to recharge a 580cc PCP air rifle bottle. It takes about 10 or maybe 15 minutes to charge from ~200 bar to ~300 bar, which is about how long it takes me to change out my target papers. The cooling fans are loud but effective, and because the fill rate is leisurely, nothing gets hot, or even particularly warm. The air hose is a tad short, but long enough. The release collar on the foster quick coupling is too large to fit the opening in my air rifle (M3), so an adapter with a smaller collar on the foster is needed. The included foster plug doesn't fit other foster fittings well, and the female foster on the end of the hose is a tad loose on other foster fittings. It works and stays attached, but the tolerances seem a bit loose. The pressure gauge on the compressor agrees relatively closely with my rifle's Wika gauge. The compressor shakes quite a bit when running and the gauge is small, so it's hard to read while it's pumping. It's also a bit tricky to set the pressure shut-off point precisely, however the gauge probably isn't super accurate anyway. I've had the unit apart (more on that shortly) and it's pretty nicely-made inside. It's a well-considered design, and the quality of the parts seems relatively good. They did a good job fitting everything inside that little enclosure. After the first few uses my compressor developed an air leak. I first contacted Amazon, which was a waste of time. Next I contacted GX via email from their website. GX directed me to contact the Amazon seller for help, which I did. The seller, ANKUL, was very helpful and sent me the replacement part I needed. I'm used to this sort of problem being an ordeal due to unhelpful customer support, but they were exceptionally good in this instance. Even though I'm supposed to be reviewing the item and not the seller, it appears GX has partnered with good sellers and I assume they must provide the sellers with parts support. Good for them, and good for us. So far I've only put a few hours of use on the compressor, but that's a LOT of rounds from my rifle. From what I've seen from the performance, the build quality, and the support, I expect to get a lot more useful service from this little unit. It doesn't seem like it's straining to do its job, it's handy, works well, and isn't wildly expensive. If it grenades on me in the near future, I'll likely be back here editing my review like a disgruntled customer, complaining about what a horrible piece of junk it is. ...but for now, I like it and I'm glad I bought it. ... show more

  • Very Impressed at First Impression
I have literally never written a review of any product I bought from Amazon, but this one has impressed me so much that I felt compelled. Bear in mind that I have only just started using the compressor, but my first experience was far better than I expected. I bought this unit thinking that it might barely be able to do what I want. These units are not intended for filling big scuba tanks. I honestly thought that it might even be very slow to fill a gun directly. So far, it looks like it will do more than I expected. The unit is simple to use. There is no setup other than plugging in the cord. I first connected it to my 580ml bottle on my gun. It took less than five minutes to fill the bottle from 150 bar up to the max of 250 bar. The noise level is modest. The loudest noise is from the cooling fan. It's not unpleasant to be in the room while it is working. Having filled the gun so easily, I hooked it up to my scuba bottle. It had 250 bar in it and I wanted to top it off to 300 bar. My hope is that if I refill my gun from the bottle a couple of times I can top off the tank with the compressor. I let the unit run for a little over 20 minutes and it added about 30 bar to the bottle. I turned it off and expect that I will be able to top off the bottle with one more run. That's frankly much better than I expected. The unit wasn't hot, and didn't seem like it was straining at all. The air coming off the cooling fan was warm, but not hot. I would not hesitate to run this for 30 minutes at a time. It's not intended to be used for longer than that without cooling down. All in all, I expect to be able to do exactly what I wanted; to top off my big scuba bottle after every few fills of the gun. No more trips to the dive shop! ... show more
