I would recommend not using the plastic sticky sheet in between your phone/phone case and the phone ring if you don't absolutely have to because the ring doesn't stick to it very well. It feels sturdy, I've had plenty of other stick-on rings before and usually if they're crap you can tell pretty quickly. It does work on myagnetic car mount and the design looks high-end IRL. That was my main concern, and if it falls apart I'll update my review and go back to the plain rings with the "S" stamped on it that I've had in the past.
