I really like this sink mat compared to the old kind with the round suction feet. It has nubs that hold it up off the sink so that water runs under it freely, therefore it doesn't get moldy and slimy like the old mat if I didn't scrub the bottom of it often enough. It is sturdy and pleasing in appearance. My only negative is that none of the holes that you can snip out to match the hole for the disposal match the disposal hole in my sink, but it is a minor thing to lift it out to use the disposal. Other than that, it fits my sink nicely and is so much better than my old mat because of the ease of cleaning and it is attractive enough that I can leave it in the sink if I want. ... show more

I ordered the Silicone Protectors for Kitchen Sink, GUUKIN 26''x 14'' Sink Mat Grid for Bottom of Farmhouse Stainless Steel Porcelain with Center Drain (Grey) for a new sink I recently had installed in my kitchen. I was going to get a metal grid for the bottom of the sink, but with its round edges, I was worried about a metal one fitting correctly. I like that this mat is flexible, so not an issue with the rounded sink corners. I also like the color as it blends in with the bottom of the sink. The mat seems sturdy and well made, although because the material is silicone, you have to be careful with sharp utensils, such as steak knives, which can nick the mat. However, the mat does fine with hot pots and pans. The best part about this mat is that it keeps dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and the like where you put them in the sink. Washing dishes, especially pots and pans, is much easier when they remain stable in the sink rather than sliding around. There was some sort of discount when I bought this mat, so it was under $20, which seems like a good deal and value for the money. This mat cleans up easily. When bits of food and the like get trapped underneath the mat, I just fold it in half, rinse that side of the sink, and then fold it the other way and rinse the other side. This sink mat works great because of the open "weave," allowing for adequate drainage without buildup of gunk underneath. It's pretty sturdy considering the open design. Fits the sink pretty well, although maybe should've opted for the next size up for a bit fuller coverage (that's on me!). Never would've thought about different spacing cutouts for drains (perhaps different countries have drain placement other than the middle?). Didn't bother cutting out the drain hole in the mat since it doesn't really seem to affect performance. Appreciate the multiple size options and color choices. Happy with this purchase so far. Only drawback I can see so far is being hesitant to place a hot pot/pan on it due to the fact that it's rubber, but again, not the manufacturer's fault, since I could've purchased a stainless steel grid instead if that was an issue. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a relatively new purchase and will see how it stands the test of time. So far, so good. ... show more

Best sink protector’s out there! They are thick & have lil nubs on them that raise them up off the bottom of the sink a bit. Easy to clean, just put them in the dishwasher top rack. Just like new again!

This product is great. I gave it 3 stars only because IF you use it inside your sink to wash dishes it floats. It’s great if you use on the rinse side though. It is a very good product, made great, easy to size. If you’re only using as a sink protector then it is recommended.
