I love this kitchen gadget. I filled mine up when I received it on the 8th of July. It is currently Oct 2nd and I'm still using the first fill. I wash dishes every day and cook a few times a week. I feel like it has saved me on dish detergent. You're less likely to be wasteful because the detergent is being measured out. It does come with a sponge.

The concept is great and it quite useful for washing the occasional cup or dish. But if you are like me and wash stuff in one go, this is not particularly useful. The amount dispensed is very small so you have to keep pumping for detergent. After a while the water and the gunk from the sponge stays in the silver tray and you have to clean out the container so that 1) the pump is not clogged and 2) you won’t need dipping your fresh sponge into last night’s or this morning’s leftover drips from the earlier washing up. But it’s great for washing the occasional spoon and cup. As my sink top is cluttered enough as it is, I donated the gadget to a bachelor and invested in an electronic dispenser.
