I finally have working patio lights on my rv again. My old ones barely worked anymore. They were dim and half of the led lights didn’t work anymore. These new ones are much better in quality and design. They are heavy duty. They put out plenty of lumens to light up the patio area. The amber color isn’t as intense as the white, but it’s better so it’s not as disturbing to neighbors nearby when camping. Install is easy. Just use the the foam backing as a template, mark and drill two holes, wire up the two wires and screw in. If you’re lucky, your holes from the old lights will line up or be covered up by the new lights. I couldn’t use my existing mounting holes and they were just slightly wider than these lights. I’ve temporarily sealed the old holes with silicone, but will fill them later and paint. These are great lights. Super bright. Great value. ... show more

If you want to annoy everyone in the campground go ahead and buy this light. WAY TOO BRIGHT. I put it on a dimmer for LED lights, but when you turned it down to an acceptable level it's like a strobe light. Will be removing light.

I ordered the warm white version of it. The lights are good quality, but the warm white is not warm white, it is orange. I'm returning it and buying the cool white one.

This light will be a nice addition to my RV. So much brighter and more substantial than the stock light. Out of the box, the light feels heavy and sturdy. It's metal, not plastic. The quality is good. The paint doesn't have any voids. The lens feels heavy duty. The wires are plenty long (14 inches) to make installing it easy. Although not yet installed, I did test the light with a battery. It's bright but the lens diffuses it nicely. The amber is a bit cooler (1900 Kelvin) than the old incandescent lights, but I think it will be better. The light comes with a foam backer and screws and a tool for installation. I got these for my camper as I need a new light, these are better than I thought they would be. These lights are incredibly bright and better then mine. The casing is metal so these are heavy/sturdy. They are bigger then my current light fixture so will need to cut the hole to male bigger to fit these. These are a great deal for 2 and you can use for different things if you want. These are some very bright little RV lights! I placed them on a separate circuit outside the front of our trailer. We already have strip type awning LED's, but they are white and don't look that great for socializing. These are a great warm amber color which is easy on the eyes and doesn't seem to attract as many mosquitoes or other flying insects compared to the white LED. The unit is manufactured from solid metal with a high gloss powder coated finish. Installing is fairly easy if you know where you can pull power from. Some negatives... 1. As other reviewers have noted, there are two cable notches on either side of the unit that need to be sealed with big globs of calking / silicone which isn't ideal and doesn't look great unless you're really careful. 2. The supplied gasket is black, even on a white unit which doesn't make sense. Please supply a matching color gasket to the unit color. 3. The mounting holes are fairly large and kinda ugly. It would have been nice if rubberized 'plugs' had been included to place in the holes after securing. It would seem to potentially be another point of water / morning dew egress if left exposed. I would recommend filling with calking after tightening the screws. All in all, a good light and a well made unit. ... show more
