Took me about an hour to fully assemble it. Wasn't too difficult to put together, but I definitely recommend having a 2nd person there to help you since some of the parts are a little heavy. My dog Clark is a 52 Pound Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) and he's an indoor dog. But anytime that we need to leave home for multiple hours... we have to leave him in the backyard since we don't have a doggy door for him to freely go outside to use the restroom. When I bought this it was the middle of winter and it was getting really cold out. I invested in this product and I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome. My dog has never been a cheer, so I'm not entirely sure how it holds up to dogs that like to tear up furniture. It feels really solid though. The roof lifts up and has hinges that can semi-lock in the open position. The doggy door opening is definitely big enough for my dog to fit throughand he has a good amount of inside space fo be comfortable. The insulation seems to do its job decently. It's good enough so that I don't have to worry about him getting cold. If you're looking specifically for one to keep your dog warm, get the version with insulation. The insulation covers some of the spaces between the wood, especially on the bottom of the floorboards. Since the dog house sits a few inches above the ground wind will blow underneath the dog house and through some of the wood boards from below, but the insulation helps to prevent that. I would buy this again for sure.

This dog house is even better than I expected. I have a large dog that is getting older and it works perfect for him. He chooses it over his old house. I was worried about him this winter but this house keeps him warm and cozy. I like how the top opens. The design is very good. It seems to be sturdy. I would recommend.

So much more than I was expecting. This took some assembly time but I believe it will last many years outside. I bought it for a duck house. I think the split lid feels wobbly when I gather eggs but it is so large a dog house I see why they needed to do that. For a dog this would be even better.

I am profound disappointment and severe dissatisfaction regarding this purchase. The item received significantly deviates from its advertised description and has proven to be entirely unfit for its intended purpose. Upon attempting to assemble the product, I encountered considerable difficulties, necessitating professional assistance due to the fragile and substandard nature of the materials used. The construction quality is remarkably poor, with components exhibiting extreme flimsiness and susceptibility to damage, which raises serious concerns about its durability and longevity. Furthermore, a critical failing concerns the integrated heating pad, which was a primary feature attracting my purchase. This component consistently failed to generate adequate warmth, posing a severe risk to the welfare of the animals it was intended to protect. Tragically, this deficiency directly contributed to the loss of three of my puppies, an outcome that is both devastating and entirely unacceptable. My attempts to resolve these grave issues by contacting the seller have been met with an unhelpful and protracted series of evasive responses, providing no satisfactory path towards resolution. I put this dog house together by myself (there was a fair amt of cussing involved). It would probably be better for 2 people to do this, but can be done with one person. The roof makes a massive mess so open the box outside if you can! Very sturdy! Has good insulation and my dog loves it! I put a heating pad inside for him because he sleeps outdoors. He has plenty of room!

This dog house was easy and quick to put together and the heated pads in it kept it warm until my pup chewed them up because the Velcro quick sticking. This definitely served the purpose that we needed it for but we were a big disappointed in the size. Our 60lb husky fits in it just fine but it would be a bit tight for a very large dog to fit in comfortably.

I never make Amazon reviews but I am on this order! Just built it yesterday instructions are a bit weird but you’ll understand it eventually lol! Everything goes smoothly if you know what you’re doing! Gives extra screws for everything which is nice! Got it all set up for my dog but she’s sketchy so far but that’s every dog with a new dog house or anything new haha but I definitely recommend this for your outside dog! Great product! (Didn’t take many pics cause it’s cold outside and I wanted to go in.)
