Was looking for a gun safe for a handgun and this product fit the bill perfectly. It is heavy duty enough that I don’t think anyone will be able to break into it, but compact enough that I can put it on my small nightstand. It was easy to set up fingerprints for unlocking. It can store up to 99 fingerprints so I did several of my fingers and my partner’s, and it only unlocked with fingerprints I had inputted. You can also set it up to unlock with a code. Overall, this gives me peace of mind knowing my handgun is protected from falling into the wrong hands, but at the same time can be easily and quickly accessed by me if the need arises.

A nice biometric safe. Small well made with fingerprint reader, keypad and key lock. It comes with keys, batteries and two mounting screws. The safe functions well, but I did replace the included batteries with a known brand for longevity purposes. The booklet included makes setup a snap and is fairly easy to understand. I did get this to hold a M&P long slide and a 1911 but I think I may have another use for it. I had mine "mounted" somewhere "secure" and not in kid line of site. I replaced the included screws and cable with something considerably hardier! BUT, remember the top is pry able with a #2 flathead screwdriver followed up with a #3 screwdriver and then a claw hammer. -This WILL NOT keep out a teenager or other persons determined to get in it.- Unless mounted to something rigid and/or heavy, a child as young as 5 years old can lift it and carry off, (even with the weight equivalent of a loaded 1911 inside it) I know we did a practical exercise of that. I am considering using this as a key box because I think I want to lockup any firearms a bit more secure. The safe is well made but just not secure enough for me.

This safe is not just a gun safe. Sure, you can put a gun in here and lock it in, but you can also use it for any other valuables that you have. I actually take this safe with me quite often. I keep valuable paperwork in here as well. As any medication, I may be taking. I also keep my large bills in here. It's really easy to set up. And you can put in either just one of your fingerprints or all of them if you want to. If you wanted to put your spouses or your kids as Fingerprints, so they could open it. You could do that. It's so quick to open that way. I absolutely love it. No more messing around trying to find my keys! This is an absolute value for the safe. I've paid a lot more money for a lot less before. Great little safe.

This is a nice gun safe. It will keep your gun secure and away from children. The fingerprint ID works, but you have to do multiple fingerprint IDs of the same finger for quick access. It looks nice. The gun safe is not too heavy, it’s made of metal. I did have a problem setting up the digital passcode. I'll update on that later. It also comes with two keys for an extra option or in case of emergency!

I like that this is a slim case, so it can slide under a bed, giving quick access if needed. Hoping that it is never needed, but having it close at hand definitely gives me peace of mind.

This is not a good choice to safely secure your weapons. This safe will keep small children away from your weapons but anyone with a screwdriver or a pry bar can get into this safe in a few minutes. Build quality is very poor with thin plate steel with gaps along the side where a screwdriver can be used to easily pry off or bend the lid, not a good choice for a gun safe. If the safe were constructed of thicker metal it would be a great choice as the biometric scanner works well and so does the number pad. The safe comes with two keys and a thin cable (that can be easily cut) to secure the safe to furniture legs. The safe is large enough to hold two weapons. I was able to fit a Glock 17 and a Glock 19 both with attached lights and the G19 also has holographic sites. I would suggest looking at another solution to securely store your weapons as I would only trust this safe to keep out a child.
