I've been on a quest for a cheap, under-$30 "quick essentials" range bag, and this one is the definition of "close, but no cigar." It checked a few boxes for a quick trip, but definitely left a few blank. Let's talk gravity and physics. The shoulder strap includes a nice pad (a win!), but the strap itself could be thicker. Honestly, the anchor points look like they're one heavy ammo box away from retiring early, so don't overload this unless you want to play 52-card pickup with your gear in the parking lot. The bag also desperately needs some type of rigid floor support—plastic, cardboard, anything—so it doesn't sag like a sad hammock when loaded. Inside, it comes with two dividers. Well, technically. The Velcro attachment points are so minimal that the dividers possess zero structural authority. Don't expect them to actually stay in place; they just wander around the inside of the bag like lost tourists. I couldn't care less about the dedicated "pistol storage." I ignored it completely and repurposed those slots for my mag loader and camera mounts, which actually worked out perfectly. The front pocket was great for stuffing tools and other random junk, but the exterior could really use way more MOLLE points to secure extra items. Verdict: It's a decent, budget-friendly shell for light range days, but temper your expectations and keep the loadout light! ... show more
