It is small and programming it is easy it can be used both as a key chain or it comes with a visor holder to use it while in the car. I have 2 of them one in the cat and the other as a key chain in case I use a friend to borrow their truck or I am outside cycling and doing my outdoor activities. It eliminates the need for a key.     • Only one that worked for me - but costly
I tried 3 other "Univeral" remotes when I lost the last of the remotes for my Genesis Garage Door Opener (a sub-brand of Guardian) and none of them were able to sync after repeated attempts with each. I finally saw this and it synced and worked instantly. From that point alone this remote is absolutely worth it vs being stuck running out of the garage after hitting the close button as fast as Ican and leaping like an idiot over the sensor while trying to keep my head ducked. Pros: Works, end of story. Only one that did. Cons: Almost twice as expensive as the universal remotes and, unlike the others, there is only ONE provided. So I had to spend $60 to get two. I would certainly recommend trying another option first and only go to this one when all else fails. No Instructions were provided so I had to dig through the comments. I'll add it as well here: Press the Learn button on the Garage Door Opener and then hold down either the blue or red button on this remote until it beeps twice. Works with my 600sl. Very easy to program. Needed it fast or I would have bought directly from Guardian. They are about $10 cheaper.
