bought to keep water from dripping off deck onto patio below... it's strung up with rope, taunt but not too taunt. the rain falls, it pools perhaps 1/2 cup of fluid at most and does it's job. after a few months it did develop a hole, quite an odd thing because it looked flawless when bought but the hole kinda just wore down in one spot almost like it was rubbed to fray through... which is impossible, nothing touches the tarp except the rainwater or melted snow. I patched it with duct tape on both sides and it still functions just fine... I'm still confused about a hole in the middle of the tarp 6 inches from one edge just appearing when it's always been at the top side with zero stress on it. ... show more

This product serves its purpose as a footprint for our camping tent. We used it in Early October in Texas which is typically pretty dry but crisp mornings and nights. This tarp was a bit thinner than I had expected so it didn’t do the greatest job at keeping the bottom of the tent dry from the cool night condensation. We still had moisture present closer to the edges of the tent. I wish it were just a bit thicker because I love the size of it! It was super hard to find a tarp that had 10x9 and 9x9 was the closest I could get for such a steal of a price! ... show more

This really made a big difference in keeping it cool when it's hot out. I purchased this to use for a awning on my van the only problem I could see with the tarp is that it's missing one grommet and that's OK I plan to add more grommets to the tarp anyway

Can't see any fading after nearly the whole summer in direct sunlight. Use it for shade and to sit in my car with the windows down in the rain. Had to double over the corners where it started to pull apart. But it's held up ever since. I'd recommend it

Even after 18 months the tarp was still intact. No rips no tears only a little bit faded while being on top of my mobile home suffering from water, cold, heat and sometimes strong winds. I never suspected it would last that long for the price.
