I have an older storage shed with significant rust damage and numerous holes in the roof. Rather than invest in a completely new roof, I decided to cover the shed with the GUARD SHIELD Heavy Duty Tarp. I have been extremely impressed with its performance. The tarp covers the roof, back, and right side of the shed and has held up exceptionally well. I secured the edges with bricks around the perimeter and added additional bricks on top to keep it firmly in place. Despite being exposed to extreme weather conditions, the tarp has remained secure and in excellent condition. It has now been in place for approximately four months and still looks almost as good as new. I have used tarps from other brands in the past, but none have lasted nearly as long. I was previously replacing my tarps every couple of months, so it is great to finally find one that appears capable of providing long-term outdoor protection. If you are looking for a durable, heavy-duty tarp for outdoor use, I would highly recommend the GUARD SHIELD Heavy Duty Tarp. Good quality tarp. But like all tarps with grommets, those grommets are the weak points. Using this tarp to provide some shade. A strong thunderstorm came thru and several grommets were torn off. The tarp is still usable. And I can’t blame the construction of the tarp, it isn’t meant to withstand gusts up to 60mph. ... show more

I’ve had this on my woodpile for a couple years now. Great heavy duty product for the money, super secure with bricks on the corner. It looks clean even from an aerial image (google earth and drone). This has been put over a10x10 kennel that had a top on it that came with the kennel and ripped within just a few months of use 😔. So I got this . It was all I could afford and it's been holding up pretty well. It's only been a few months but I can tell so far it's better than the one that came on it. And if it will get me through at least a year with no tearing , I'll be thankful . However, I'll be even more happy if it lasts a few years. So far so good . 3 months outside on top of a kennel . 1 star- Grommets are not 36” apart, some are 40”, some are 36”,some are +/-. Some of the grommets are at the edge and some are an inch down. The heat seal is already lifting along the entire tarp. I knew I would be-adding more grommets and reinforcing grommets with gorilla tape. I did not plan on reinforcing the entire heat seal or that the measurements would be so off. For the purposes of my use, the measurements were important. Had I prepped my project-in advance based on 36” measurements there would be a lot of bad words in this review. This is a 16 x 16 tarp that is not made well or as advertised. Not my first tarp, not my first project. Do not recommend. ... show more

This is what a tarp should be! I thought the ones I had were good but this one is great! I used it recently for a camping trip with my outside screen tent as a floor cover and it was perfect!
