It's a great starter bike. If you're used to gas dirtbikes it'll disappoint you. Im 200lb and it struggles on some off road. The shocks bottom out on every bump. I've tightened em up too. The pedals are fragile. One shattered bumping a rock. They're are standard threading so any pedal can replace it. Don't get me wrong, its a lot of fun. I had a 10 year old e-bike that seems redundant to this one. Be sure to check your state laws about this or any e-bike. In WA. If it can go over 28 mph you need a license, insurance, etc. Like a gas bike. So you mind as well pull the pedals and get folding pegs. ... show more

Theyre devent bikes, the kickstand rattles against the frame extremely bad out of the box, they offer 2 suspension springs and the stock one is absolutely terrible and the license plate will just bottom out on the tire, the 2nd one they throw in for free is fine but you have ti swap them out, the bike is false advertised, it does nowhere near 50mph, going down a steep hill ive gotten it ti about 45, and about 40 on flat ground (160 pounds), and on turbo mode the battery only lasts about 40 miles. Besides all of that stuff, theyre good bikes, just nothing near what is advertised, and kind of underpowered. If they were $1500 id be more than happy, but spending $2500 after shipping im a little disappointed ... show more

This bike is good for touring. One of my son's, and mine favorite riding experiences with this bike was when he ventured back into the mountains. It brought back nostalgic memories of my younger days. The bike's performance was consistent and powerful, it allowed me to have a great time with my son.
