These gloves are exactly as presented and in truth, I wasn't expecting these to be as well made as they are. They are medium weight, very warm with 3M thinsulate and excellent quality. As for sizing, the company informed me that if you are between sizes, note that if you measure the length of your middle finger, the Medium sized would fit if your middle finger is 3.2 inches or below, the Large is for 3.5 inches or below and XL is above 3.5 inch middle finger length. I honestly thought that the gloves would be a little thinner because I wanted them for cycling and was thinking that a thinner glove would be applicable for this purpose but I cannot deduct for that because the gloves are warm, well made and a phenomenal value. ... show more

These gloves are very nice for general outdoor use in cold weather. The lining is a soft fleece that is very comfortable on your hand. The integrated cuff seals out the weather well. I especially like the Thinsulate lining that almost completely blocks out the wind, as I needed some gloves to use when cycling on cold winter mornings. Overall, they performed well in fit, warmth, and wind resistance. The biggest issue I found with these gloves was that the fingers are rather thick, making it difficult to use the touchscreen on my phone. Other gloves I have used for cycling have been made of a neoprene material that was more form-fitting around my fingers, but the wind resistance was lacking. These gloves have a nylon shell and integrated PU palm and fingers that block the wind, but I found it more difficult to press the small icons on my phone screen individually because the fingertips are so wide. Overall, this is a very nice pair of gloves for winter bike riding and general outdoor activity, but you might find it difficult to use the touchscreen on your phone due to the thick fingers. ... show more
