I bought this to replace a more expensive, brand-name inflator for a 10 day trip to Moab, Utah... it was inexpensive and the specs seemed too good to be true for the price, but I wanted to try it anyway. This is a very quiet unit that would take 35" tires from 15PSI to 30PSI in about 2:00 minutes each. After airing up 4 tires, the case and cylinders were warm, but not hot at all which was surprising considering the air hose and fitting were very hot (as would be expected.) The included carrying bag is acceptable and serves its purpose and while the coiled hose felt a bit lighter than expected, it and the fittings functioned perfectly. More interestingly, the built-in gauge was dead-on accurate with my handheld gauge when the unit was off. It ran 2PSI higher than actual tire pressure when running and the needle did not flutter. I would have prefered the battery clamps to be on the wires instead of using the adapter (which got pretty hot,) so I'll probably cut the power adapter off and remount the clamps. It would most likely blow the fuse for a vehicle's power port anyway and needed the engine running for optimal performance. Very surprising for a unit of this price to have as much air flow as it did. It worked flawlessly, came with a decent enough bag, and appears well-constructed. UPDATE: I've had the unit for several months now and have used it many times, including on a low spare trailer tire. It still works perfectly. I typically inflate and deflate my truck tires, plus the rear air bags, each time I use our toy hauler. The unit continues to get the job done. No more frustration with inaccessible, or poorly maintained station air services. It's been a good buy for my frequent needs. ORIGINAL POST: This little compressor does a wonderful job. It's not the fastest on the market as it can take close to 8 minutes to inflate my 2 rear truck tires from 45 lb to 80 lb, but it gets the job done much better than the gas station air stations. It does not get hot like many report about other small compressors. Nothing becomes hot to the touch. For the air volume and pressure abilities, it's cost is considerably better than most. A good product. I gave it a 4 only because it comes with a screw on connector which is acceptable for the truck tires but loses all the air put into the truck air bags, by the time you get I it unscrewed. I bought some extra quick-release fittings, air chucks and an extra coil hose to allow it to work on any fitting. Now it's good for any use. Nice compressor for the price! ... show more

Misleading picture, not worth a premium price. the cooling fins are plastic decoration and do nothing to cool the pump, actually will make it cool less well. Almost sent back but was not worth my time and needed a pump for a trip. works adequately for now, but is not a premium product by any stretch. ... show more

it's an overall great product it really does work well but I was highly disappointed after reading all the reviews about how it's the ultimate tire inflation device and it didn't even come with a Chuck to inflate a tire... Wasn't happy about that at all....

Opened box and tried unit. Unit worked for about 10 seconds. Put it away for about a month. Attempted to use again, plugged in and turned on switch. Unit turned on for about 2 seconds and stopped working!!!! Do not buy this unit this thing is brand new and not working got this for emergency situations and to keep our family’s tires inflated properly. I would not feel safe using this product for emergency situations. Passed the the products return policy window! Very displeased I did not get to use once! Buyer beware this unit will not give you peace of mind or perform in emergency situations. ... show more

You order the compressor with the intent to use it on a car tire and what comes with it is still not enough to do that. On top of that they mislead you to believe that if you buy the fittings and the attachment to put air in a tire you are again going to come up short and not be able to do so. So far this compressor is a positive experience! I was checking multiple brands/type and I decided next to it because of the advertised 70l airflow, the dual cylinder and the extension cable with the crocodile connectors. Compressor is surprisingly quiet compared to what I expected and I have only used this so far 2 times (with the crocodile connectors, directly from battery), but seems will work great for the 33-38psi range I use in my cars. Time will tell, but I hope this was a good buy, so far can recommend it. ... show more
