I was using a ryobi 18v tire inflator for a while and got sick of how long it took to bring all my tires back up to pressure after offloading. This inflator got all of my tires up to pressure in the same time it took the ryobi to fill one tire. Only complain I have is the connectors. It comes pre-wired with a 12v socket for a car lighter. But it has a caution sticker on the side warning against using it as it might not provide enough current. It does come with an adapter to use with a battery. I will be cutting off the 12v adapter and soldering the battery adapter on permanently. That fact alone is why it doesn't get 5 stars. Otherwise awesome product. ... show more

After reading the reviews as well as online recommendations I purchased this item. Everything was included as promised. Per the instructions recomendation I did connect it directly to the battery. I used it to inflate my camping trailer tires from 60lbs to 85lbs. It took on average 3 to 5 minutes per tire. I did let it cool down for the same amount of time it ran for the tire between. My pressure gauge was accurate. I also saw no difference in performance with the light on while inflating. The battery to cigarette lighter connection could be improved, I had to make sure the connection was complete by pushing it together a little tighter. I already have a Slime but this one works just as well plus it has a auto gage which is really convenient AND tools which is icing on the cake I was surprised that the case & tools were good quality for what they are needed for I am very happy with this pump and quick delivery was SA WEET Ps. I have purchased two of these units. The first was over taken by my daughter and son-in-law. It works very well and fast compared to other 12v compressors I have owned. Like being able to set desired pressure and it stopping when that pressure is reached. I would definitely recommend.

    • So glad we had it.
It worked great. On our extensive camping trip this past winter we were in the mountains of Arizona. Suddenly the alarm went off from the tire sensors on the 5th wheel. Miles from everyone and we had a flat. We were able to pull off and air up the tire. It held until we got to the neared town where we could get the tire fixed. We ended up having to use it a couple more times during our off road travels. Great Christmas gift for sure ... show more

    • Those heatsink fins are plastic, not cast metal like a reasonable person would think.
One of the bigger issues with compressors is heat. When you see a picture of this pump you think all that silver stuff with "heatsink fins" is cast metal but its plastic. Companies that do this are so misleading. The only reason I gave it 3 stars vs 2 is because despite that, the kit is something I would like to have in my car. The case is flimsy and should have either had a hinge with a rod/pin thru it or the same clamps on both the back and front. I can see that thing falling apart after opening/closing it a few times. A flashlight would have been nice, or even a flashing beacon light so traffic see's you at night. U could have even just put a reflective tape X or triangle on the case. I carry a head torch in my car so its not too bad. ... show more

I read a lot of reviews on different models of air compressors, looked at CFM’s and a whole host of other things. I finally settled on this unit because of the hard case, attachments, the power of the unit, and tire kit included. I tried it today on tires that needed to be pressure adjusted (just inflated to 35 psi from 32, 33, 31, and 34 psi). The unit was able to do that with no problems at all. Everything worked correctly (the external light and pressure cutoff). Although the light is not very bright, I think it would do well on an unlit roadway. I would suggest carrying a flashlight in your emergency roadside kit. I was not impressed with the light but I still gave it 5 stars because the overall unit works as is stated and what I need the unit for. I have a 1500 Chevy Silverado with 18” rims. I believe the tire size is 245/65/ R18. So I have no doubt that this unit will work in the time frames this site gives to inflate tires. Great little unit!! ... show more

It really worked great! Everything was as described. I wish the air hose would have been a few feet longer, from my battery to the back tires on my van it just barely it, but it made it. The digital readout and auto shut off is great! Set it and forget it. It filled up the tires on my full size 4x4, they weren't flat but it took it from 40 PSI to 80 in just a matter of a couple of minutes. I check the air pressure in four vehicles, every Tire needed air without stopping and it did not overheat, it got a bit hot but no problem. ... show more
