  • Good, but do *not* use the cigarette lighter.
Color: Silver
Update: If you need something you can take on the road to air up large tires, this pump is powerful and does a great job. However, since I only use this at home, I wished I had just purchased a high power AC inflator or air tank. I would recommend having the car running when using this pump. I foolishly used it to air up 8 tires that were pretty low and it drained my battery to the point of no return. As an aside - once a car battery gets to about 10 volts, it's usually permanently damaged and requires replacement. Original Review: A quick warning: Do not use the cigarette lighter adapter. Use the battery clamps as the instructions mention. Otherwise be prepared to replace a car fuse. This pump can pull 25 amps and most cigarette lighter receptacles have a 20 amp fuse. My car didn't have an issue, but I did blow the fuse in my Jeep. Most likely the larger tires of the Jeep required more power and went over the 20 amp line. Review: This review is for the "GSPSCN Portable Air Compressor Pump Tire Inflator with Digital Gauge, Heavy Duty Double Cylinder 12V Tire Pump 150 PSI with Tire Repair Kit and Toolbox for Auto,SUV,Off-Road,Truck,Bike" I've only used it once so far, but it is quick and has no problem airing up our Jeep's tires. I've had issues with the regular pumps not being able to handle that. It quickly aired up the tires for my car and my Jeep. Much faster than my previous pumps. The auto shutoff works well. I tested with a pressure gauge and the auto shut off matches the target. The power line and the air lines are long enough to reach the back of the vehicle easily. The powerline length is important since has to run directly off the battery. It's about as loud as my previous pumps. It also has a decent roadside kit included in the box. The box is sturdy. I like the pump and it works well. If something changes, I'll update this review. ... show more

  • Accurate
Color: Silver
It really does work well, but can take time if you have larger tires. First time use was on a small car with a 38psi tire and filled quickly. On the RV, the tires are 110psi. It' had been sitting for over a year, and the tires were getting low. At about 80psi each, it took approx. 40 minutes each to reach 110. I did notice it was moving fast in the very beginning, but the higher the psi, the longer it would take. I checked with my tire gauge and it coincided with the pump. With that said, it's nice and compact, and easy to store in my truck. I also love the choice of using the power port or the battery, but like another review said, depending on the make and model of your vehicle, make sure your power port can handle the amperage or you'll blow a fuse. Overall, it's great for emergencies, and appears to be a quality piece of equipment that is well worth the price. ... show more

  • Works well
Color: Silver
I tested this with all 4 of my tires at 15.7psi in each tire. My tire size is 265/R75/16 tires. I set the tire pressure of the pump to 35psi. It took 13 minutes to inflate all four tires to 35psi as I used a multi-adapter hose that connects to the pump and all 4 tires simultaneously. I think is fairly good and quick and it did not get hot enough to touch the pump. Only thing I didn't like is the pump says it will turn off once the desired psi is reached, but it did not turn off? ... show more

  • Holds up to abuse
Color: Silver
I have used this compressor for inflating 33 inch tires on my Jeep and on my Duramax. They take a bit longer on the Duramax, because it has to get them up to 62+ psi, but it gets the job done and the hose is long enough to reach the rear tire while the wire is attached to the battery in the front of the truck. It draws a fair bit of electricity, so I always connect it directly to the battery. I have also built an adapter to run it from 18V tool batteries which I do quite regularly when I use this compressor to power a compressed air paper rocket launcher. It is really nice, because we just set the pressure to what we want and kids can run up and cycle the switch to prep for the next rocket launch. We have literally done this hundreds of times over the last 3 years of ownership and it is still holding up great. We took this compressor down to Moab recently and used it to air our jeep back up after riding on the trail and I'm not sure it could be more convenient. It took at most 5 minutes per tire to get my 33x12.5r15 tires from 15psi to 33psi when we got off the trail. The best part was that I just plugged it in to the tire and cycled the switch and it stops as soon as your desired street pressure is reached. Once it stopped I just disconnected from that tire and connected it to the next tire. I might buy a second one now so I don't have to keep pulling it out of my truck to use for the jeep. Who needs a higher CFM pump ro reinflate tires if I could buy literally 4 of these for the same price. ... show more

  • Pump is a disappointment - very slow and cut off pressure switch does not work.
Color: Silver
The pump is slow to fill, and the cut-off pressure does not work. I have 38-inch tires on my Jeep, and I thought this would be a great option since it was advertised as a high-flow pump. After airing down to 14 psi for my trail ride, I started to air up the tires, but I ended up being the last one to finish. I only managed to get one of the tires up to 30 psi before the others at the trailhead felt sorry for me and helped me air up the last three tires with their pump. On day two, I intended to air up a tire on my friend's car. I was just trying to get it from 25 psi to 32 psi. I connected the pump to the battery, started it, and walked away. It quickly stopped, which I thought wasn't too bad. However, when I checked the pump, I saw that it only reached 28 psi before shutting off. I had to increase the shutoff pressure to over 50 psi just to get it to run. At this point, it's clear that this pump is a disappointment. ... show more
