Previous to getting this lamp I tried germinating some Basil and Leek seeds in a sunny window. No luck. I then tried again with this plant light, and my seeds have germinated!!! I really like this item. It does come with some instruction (you'll need a magnifying glass to read them). My only reservation is that you will have to go to the Amazon site for this product to see which lighting colors are best for your purposes. (Like: which lighting mode do I use for germination, daylight, etc?) Other than that I really like timer (three choices), and the levels of brightness (10 brightness levels!!). This is for smaller plants. It has a maximum height of 24inches and minimum height of 13 inches. The gooseneck makes it fully adjustable and where you want the light pointed to. Assembly was easy, it took about 5 minutes or less. Great item. I like it. I would recommend it to a friend or anyone interested in germinating some seedlings, or improving some of your weaker plants. Five Stars! ... show more

    • Great little grow lights
This little grow light is full spectrum. You can choose which spectrum to use and even set a timer. Had come in very handy for the flowers and veggies that I started indoors before the grow season.

I got this to help germinate seeds this spring, and those under this light did much better than the seeds that did not, by a wide margin. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. I simply turned it on during the day and off at night, so I can’t speak to the timer function, but otherwise, I have only positive things to say about this (and I was skeptical at first). ... show more

Very nice product, these are a game changer for our indoor starter garden. The Full Spectrum LEDs provide “natural” light so our garden can grow quicker! The adjustable settings allow me to customize the lighting based on the plant type (we have several). They are also energy efficient which saves us costs!     • Convenient Grow Light
Pretty nice counter top grow light for some supplemental lighting for my in-door plants. The cord is a little on the short side and the controls for the timer were a little confusing at first, but I will update this review with how my plants respond to it later.
