My brother Damon recommended using LED indoor lighting for our potted indoor plant collection. Unboxed and setup easily. Switched on and in seven days I began to see the influence these lights had on interior plant growth. Using the full spectrum variety, and running at twelve hour intervals the nuanced response by various tropicals we raise is praiseworthy. As a professional horticulturist I had relied upon supplemental lighting in the greenhouse very rarely. Admittedly, I was resistant to using plant lights at home. That has definently changed. This grow light is a great basic grow light! It's super bright with 200 watt equivalent, full spectrum lighting delivered by 208 LED's. The stand is great - a nice weighty bottom with non slip cushioned padding to protect your furniture/surfaces from scratches, an adjustable height stand, and a flexible gooseneck for positioning your grow light in the perfect angle for your planty needs. It casts a wide angle of light so you can use this on quite a few plants or trays if you are starting seeds. There is no dimmer and no timer, just a basic manual on/off switch. However, this can be daisy chained to other similar grow lights that do have a timer, which is nice. You can also use a smart plug if you want to set up an automated on/off schedule. Overall, for a basic but really bright grow light, this is great!

This grow light is perfect for using in a dark room or basement. It's light cast is wide and bright. I keep my succulents under this light and they are thriving. I recently moved to a place that doesn't have great lighting from my windows so a lot of my plants are not growing under grow lights. I've purchased three different types of portable lights and this has been my favorite so far. The height is adjustable, the stand is thin so I can easily put a plant on it if I want to, and it's light and easy to move around. I had a variagted string of hearts that I noticed was losing variegation, I started using this light on it and it's looking a lot better now! Would buy again if I need more.
