The lights put off a lot of light and the sprouts I started indoors before shifting them outside did well under this light by itself. Where they are there is no outdoor light. The lights are easily positioned though sometimes I had to work a bit to get it situated in a way that the weight of the light didn't shift the positioning afterwards. The tripod base is not stable enough to swing every light at full extension one direction without tipping. I ended up shifting the plants and light so they were closer and arcing the lights quite a bit. I also have braced it against furniture to help with this. The timer is easy to set and works well. The times start from the time you set it. I used the 2 longer settings and both worked well for me.

Got a 6 head unit and it made my plants grow like crazy. Worked so well i ordered a five head for more plants. Before i received the five head my six head just stopped working at 9 months. When i received my new one it came wth an envelope containing registration that i never received in the first unit. I had sent info from amazon to prove my order of first one but never heard back. Like i said the unit worked really well and was pleased for 9 months. I filled out registration on my new light but i am not happy the way i was ignored with my light that only lasted 9 months. I never would have ordered a second one if i knew how they would treat me with the purchase of the first one. All because they never packed a registration card with the first one. One of the reasons i ordered the first one was the reviews i read abt how well they stood by their product. Not thrilled. Donald e. Whittles. Ammended review. Tech support was nothing but amazing gor this day and age. Areplacement power head is being shipped to me as tupe this review. I now give this review 5 stars for the company standing by their product and correcting my problem quickly. This is a terrific floor lamp grow light. Really good light coverage. In fact, I came back to purchase a second one to replace a patchwork of grow lights I have on an orchard, some basil and tomato plant. Indoor only. Very stable. Easy to put together (take the rubber tip off so you can screw into the base. Will go as tall as 58". I have a lot of snake plants and they seem to really like this light. Reasonably priced and effect. LOTS of timer settings. In my opinion, worth the price and good purchase. Of course it's just new - so Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Perfect plant light for me. Tall, five separate flexible light. Can set control to run one light or up to five. Able to set timer to run lights for 3,6,9,12,15,18 hours and automatically start lights at same time every day. Light fixture tripod is not as sturdy as it should be, but the value of the light unit is worth making the purchase. Can be top heavy if you align all the light arms on one same side. Gave this light as a Christmas gift and they love it too.

I have brought my potted plants into my garage for the cold weather, but needed to get some light in there for them. It's a small and now very overcrowded garage, so I needed something that would not take up much space. This is perfect. The base is stable even though it's very slender, and it lifts the lights up plenty high enough to light all the plants in half of the garage. The lights can be positioned to face whichever way is needed - I have them in all directions. The light is frankly better than the overhead light I have in there. I feel my own seasonal slump lifting when I go in, so it has to be good for the plants :) The timing feature is also excellent. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. Let me start off by saying I am extremely happy that I made this purchase ! I was looking for modern LED lights that I could put in my office room to replace the old walmart lamps and these were perfect! I am definitely ordering myself a 2nd pair for my germination room. highly effective product. I would recommend this to anyone on the market . I used these lights (5 head) for 6 months and they no longer work! The switch lights up and yet the lights will not turn on. The tripod is too flimsy for the heavy light heads and tends to tip easily if you are not careful. Very disappointed in quality considering the price. I was contacted by the products customer service department and after a few emails and diagnostic tests they replaced the product in its entirety. I was surprised and pleased!!
