OMG! It’s sooo good! Coffee came out perfectly. Soft tasted, no bitterness from the metal. Im so glad we finally got it. It was easy to use, easy to clean. Perfect size for 2 people. No leaks, no splashes. And it looks so cute!

  • I use it every day, perfect coffee every time
Color: Blk Steel Size: 10 espresso cups
I've been using this coffee maker an average of once a day since I got it in May. It always makes perfect coffee for me! I grind 4 tablespoons of coffee beans per batch with the maximum water level (just barely touching the bottom of the valve in the reservoir, fills 2 large mugs) and the coffee is strong and smooth without off flavors every time. When tightening down the threaded connection, there is no need to over tighten it. If all of the pots are machined the same, I've found that threading it on until it is just a little snug with the handle oriented over the valve (like in the picture) is just right. This is a very efficient way to get the most out of your coffee beans, it takes at least a couple of weeks to get through a typical 12 ounce bag of beans. Cleaning it daily is a little bit of a chore but it's worth it in my opinion. If you're a busy person and don't have time to wait for it to boil and then clean it every day, it would still make a nice treat for slow mornings and your days off work. During the time I've had it, I moved and have used it with 2 different gas ranges. Not all gas ranges are equal, the range I'm using currently finishes making the coffee in about a third of the time of my previous one (less than 5 minutes starting with cold water). I'm not sure how it is on electric but I imagine it would take quite a bit longer. An aluminum pot might be better for an electric stove (since it conducts heat quickly), but if you have plans to ever get an induction stove like I do this steel pot would work while the aluminum pot would be useless! I love this thing! It's well made, so satisfying to use, not that expensive, and I think it's going to last me for years to come. ... show more

  • Nice product
Color: Brushed Steel Size: 6 espresso cups
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Shape, size, and aesthetic. I have a gas stove and the bottom section of my old one had turned black, so this one maybe will look better longer. We'll see over time. But none of that really matters -- it makes a good cup of coffee.

  • Outstanding quality!
Color: Brushed Steel Size: 6 espresso cups
Excellent qaulity products from this company. This is our third purchase: 2 glass replacements for a press and this really nice espresso machine. We had a light weight cheapo aluminum one which not surprisingly broke at the handle. This one is built to last and feels solid. Handle stays cool. Definitely worth the money. ... show more

Makes good espresso. Takes a while and the handle and entire apparatus gets very hot. Relatively easy to clean. Overall, happy with the product.

  • Great product

Great Moka pot. no leaks, easy to clean. Makes great espresso / coffee. Pairs fantastically with kitchenmaid coffee grinder - one can grind right into the coffee holder insert.

  • Highly Recommend
Color: Blk Steel Size: 10 espresso cups
This coffee maker was to replace an older Italian one that had just plain worn out. I researched heavily. This coffee maker was the finalist among a bunch of others in the same price range. I was hesitant and my expectations were not high since even $150 units were coming in with mixed reviews. Even the Bialetis had mixed reviews. Anyway, I committed and purchased. The coffee maker arrived in its own store box, unpacked. I was almost sure it had experienced some damage since the store box is not designed to protect the unit for shipping. Anyway, the coffeemaker was intact w/o damage. Shipping packaging should still be improved. I think I lucked out. When I opened, the quality craftsmanship was noticeable immediately. It is a beautiful coffee maker. High quality materials. Stainless steel is impecable. It is heavier than the aluminum ones because stainless steel is just a more dense metal. Quality of coffee is as it should be. Operated quietly with a gentle bubbling action which goes silent once complete. Cleaning is always tedious for any coffee maker but this one is a breeze. silicone seals are available from manufacturer. This is a US family owned company with production in Taiwan. Brass pressure relief valves are imported from Italy. Avoid China made products/the reviews were terrible. ... show more

  • It's a keeper!
Color: Brushed Steel Size: 10 espresso cups
Okay, anyone who knows me knows that I don't write tons of reviews. And I certainly don't write positive reviews if I don't believe in the product itself. That said, here we go... In the last 15 years I have gone through about seven different models of stove top coffee maker. I must admit that price was a factor, and that I tried to keep it as reasonable as possible. Under $50 if possible. And basically what I always ended up with was a version of the standard model coffee maker with the multi-sided fluted base, just maybe with a slightly different handle design, but otherwise basically the same. Everyone reading this knows exactly what I'm talking about. And trust me when I say, none of those purchases ever got a positive review by me. Until now. Admittedly, I just got it a few days ago so it's not like I've brewed 100 pots with it already, just a couple. But that ought to be a testament to how it looks and feels compared with all those other bad purchases that I've made over the years: that something I've had for less than 4 days can make me come in here and leave a positive review, should really mean something to the people reading this. There's not much more to say, but for the more curious people I will add this: consider just the coffee strainer alone: the one on this model weighs triple as much as the coffee strainer on the cheaper models. Ditto for the rest of the unit as well. Very well made, strong like bull, works like a breeze, and has a great design too. It's a keeper. ... show more
