    • Winch hook thumb won’t close over shackles
Size Name: 13500lbTK
The way the hook is designed it doesn’t allow it to thumb to close on a 3/4” shackle which is 9500lbs or a 7/8” which is 14,000lbs. Your have to use a smaller shackle or buy a different winch hook. Doesn’t make sense to buy a 13,500 lbs winch and use 7.000 lbs shackles

The media could not be loaded. This winch works great with our 55 gallon bucket that we made to use on our tractor. So far it has worked perfectly and does a great job. We only paid $10 for our 55 gallon drum and after a few modifications and the addition of the winch, we have a pretty good front end loader that saves on shoveling. ... show more

    • Winch works, remote works once you know how
The winch works great with the wired controller , but the remote didn’t seem to work. I even tried changing the battery. I could not contact the seller directly and Amazon wanted me to return the whole thing. I gave up on it and decided to buy a new remote for $13. When I looked it up, it had the instructions in the ad that I needed. It would have been nice to have been included with the winch. ... show more
