This belt is awesome! It is very simple in design. The buckle is a single piece of aluminum with some slots cut into it. The nylon strap has a plastic end piece molded into it on one end. It uses friction to stay snug, and it does a good job as I've not had any issues with it coming loose. I got the all black one, and the buckle has a very nice brushed black anodized finish. The thickness is just right - thin enough to be comfortable, but thick enough to be sturdy. I measured it at 1/8" thick. The nylon strap is great. Very sturdy at 1/12" thick. Has no stretchiness that I've noticed, but is rigid enough to maintain its shape and not fold over onto itself. Its probably one of the nicest nylon straps that I've seen and I have around half a dozen nylon belts from over the years. I will note that the belt isn't as easy to take off as it is in the video. I haven't been able to do it with just my thumb. With that said, it is still pretty easy to take off, but it does take 2 hands: 1 to tilt the buckle and the other to pull the nylon strap. Overall, I love this belt. Its very durable, very comfortable, and easy to adjust. It might be my new favorite belt. Its between this one and the Groove Life belt. The Groove Life has stretchy nylon, which is nice and a magnetic buckle that makes it super easy to buckle and unbuckle. I am at work today and was recommending this belt to someone. He was wearing another type of belt that I had tried out and didn’t like so I was telling him about the Grip6. I realized I should also write a review since that was the case. I’ve tried a lot of other belts. First, belts with holes are only adjustable so much. Other belts either have a higher profile that will scratch whatever you lean against, and they will often slip. This belt is ingenious and so simple at the same time. The first time I tried it on I was doubtful that it wouldn’t slip. There just didn’t seem to be anything that would really hold it tight. But it has never slipped on me, ever. And it has such a nice slim profile. Simple, effective, and adjustable at any time to wherever you might need it. I now have three of these. One for work, one for dressier occasions, and one for hiking. And the one for hiking, if it gets dirty, it’s the easiest thing to clean off. This is my second belt from the company so I do like them and over time they hold up fairly well. My older one is a little deformed where is good through the loop at my spine, but not enough to prevent it from working as intended. Something else you should be aware of especially if you have a sensitive tummy or eating particular food can make you have to use the restroom in a hurry. When removing the belt you do need to either suck in your gut or press in on your belly before removing the belt. This has led to unfortunate situations where the clothing was not able to be removed in time to relieve myself properly. Other than that it's all good. They are 2/3rds of my belt wardrobe. I suspect they will last a long time. The first one I bought is already 4 or 5 years old. Maybe older. I can't remember exactly, but used very often. ... show more

Belt is easy to put on, easy to take off and easy to adjust sizing. The material itself does not stretch a ton, but with how adjustable the sizing is, it doesn’t need to. I wear this belt 5-6 days a week for 8-10 hours a day performing various activities. Have yet to see any issues with durability after 6-8 months of everyday use. I was apprehensive about spending as much for a belt as I did the Grip6 but i'm glad I did. You can get absolutely any fit you want for whatever clothes you wear or accommodate any weight changes. The styles they offer work well with absolutely any clothes you wear. I love not having an exposed belt tail too! My belt tails get soft over time and tend to flop all over - not Grip6. I was very concerned the design would allow it to slip and loosen, especially with constant movement, but so far I haven't had that happen once. Cinching it up took a little getting used to but it's really not that much different from any other belt. Highly recommended! ... show more

I ordered two belts in the past. One for work & one for everyday use. Roughly six months ago I had an accident on my job that required paramedics to use scissors to cut my pants off including my belt. Just before returning to work I ordered another belt instead of going to a store to buy a leather one. Received my belt within two days. From experience I can tell you that my belts do not stretch & when you tighten them down they do not let go. Nor do the warp or become too tough to bend when they get wet.
