    • Definitely it provides an outstanding grade of protection for a consumer grade Ceramic.
I have used several products from ceramic waxes to polymer seal and so far I liked the ceramics much more that the polymer seals. In my opinion the polymers depending on the color of your car, sometimes you can see a layer of a cloudy "I guess polymer protection". The ceramics are just very clear and it enhances the evenness on the paint making it very reflective and shinny. As far as comparing the Griot's Garage 3 in 1 Ceramic Wax with others that I have used, below are some of the pros and cons I have observed. PROS 1- Easy to apply - Having said that I have to say that I use an applicator because using the sprayer directly on the car does not allow you to control the area that you are applying. 2- It is very hydrophobic. 3- It is very Reflective 4- Helps keep the car clean and look clean for longer. 5-If you have high spots you can use the moist applicator and apply on the high spot area again and it will soften the already dry high spot allowing you to remove it. (the sooner you detect that high spot the better) 6-Price is extremely reasonable especially when you take in consideration the small amount that you will need to provide great protection to your car once every 6 to 12 months. CONS 1- In my opinion it does not provide as much filler effect and or depth as others like (Chemical Guys Hydro Charge.) NOTE: I have gotten the best of both by applying Hydro Charge as a base and then Griot's as the top coat and it looks and works great. 2-The beading is very very tight and it works great getting rid of water off of vertical panels but it does not sheet off flat panels like the hood or roof. This creates temporary water spots that will come off on your next wash. 3- It is not as smooth to the touch as other products like toppers but I do not see that lack of smoothness preventing it from doing its job. ... show more

    • I researched this before buying, it lasts a long time!
I research everything before I buy! Scott HD on YouTube tested this along with about 20 other "spray on coatings". This was one of if not the best for longevity and performance. It lasted over a year! You can't beat that for how easy it is to apply. I use this as a "topper" for my vehicles which I have ceramic coated. It works great and it's so cheap considering the 22 ounce bottle is enough to do a vehicle about 15 times or so. Don't apply it to hot surface, apply in the shade, and enjoy! ... show more

    • You can’t mess this up!
Ok I lied…. You can…. But you can’t! Let me explain. So my dumb, impatient self reads the instructions yeah yeah yeah, blah blah blah and decides that I’m going to use this as a drying aid. So let’s just spray my truck all over after I rinsed the soap off and let’s see how it goes…. WRONG!! BAD IDEA. First off, please READ the instructions. Well read AND follow them. I would like to say this was my first mistake but it’s not. I was washing my car around 6-7pm (summer time) while it was cloudy outside. Lo and behold the sun pops out (not as strong but still there) mid wash. So that’s mistake number 1. Don’t do this on a warm/hot car or in the sun. But too late I’ve already committed so I forge on… BAD IDEA #2 So I spray my black F150 all around and the first thing that hits me is the SMELL! I usually hate all fragrances because it gives me an instant headache. This… I cannot get enough of. I wish they made this scent for everything… soap.. laundry detergent… candles - you name it. It smells amazing! Ok so after I spray the entire truck (sigh) I go over to wipe it off. And I see just spray droplets and streaks everything. I’m thinking dang it, I should not have done this in the sun. So I go to the other side of the truck that was in the shade… same thing. I think on the sunny side it just streaked a little faster. So at this point, I’m going to have a melt down. My beautiful truck looks horrible. Horrible is an understatement. I debated even calling my detailer to see if he could fix whatever I did wrong. Feeling defeated and almost throwing the towel in. I grab the bottle and re-read the instructions. At this point I’m cursing myself and all the other reviews who gave this product a high rating. Either they were all wrong (I doubt it) or I was an idiot (most likely). I re-read the bottle and it said to work in SMALL sections (whoops… should not have ignored that part). Then it said do not over spray to prevent streaking (whoops… maybe I was too caught up in the smell… let’s say I was not stingy with the spraying). A little goes a long way! Then… the answer I was looking for… if streaking occurs just take a dry microfiber towel and wipe/buff it out. So now curious and hopeful, I had an answer to my problem. It seemed too good to be true. Happy to report, it does work! Yay!! But dang… does it take some work. To buff out the entire truck took a lot of elbow grease… enough to where you’d want to pay the neighborhood kids to do the work (saves you the time and energy and gives them a little summer time cash). I was sore and tired after all was said and done but finally ZERO streaks and dappling. I can’t say the job was easy, but dang was it worth it…. The shine!!! Despite all that I did wrong… like I said in the end, you just can’t mess this up. It looked like glass. The reflection is insane. The last time it was THIS shiny was when I took it home from a professional ceramic wrap at the detailers 5 months ago (which mind you, also cost an arm and a leg). This thing? For only 20 something bucks gives you near the same results. I can’t say it won’t cost you an arm though…. Literally! All in all, wow, I love this product. Worth every tear, sweat, and elbow grease I put into it. I do not recommend doing it my way (aka the hard way) but good news is… you really can’t mess it up. Take it from me :) that is also to say, I won’t be doing this too often. Worth it but dang… she’s work haha! Maybe next time I’ll follow instructions and it will be a lot less work for the shine! ... show more

    • I wish I could use it as long as I can.
I have CX5 with dark mika blue color. It is great product that all protection with nice shine, coating last long and strong beating water. But it is incompatible with dark color paint its my opinion. Its easy to apply, but hard to remove. I always saw looks like dark deep stain. I was struggling to remove that always and took long time to do it every spot. After took off and made cure, my car is beautiful with great and rich shine. I love that part! I wish I could use it as long as I can but its a li bit too much work for me. I hope griots will fix it some day and I hope I can buy it again. ... show more

Great product. I have a dark gray automobile and I use this product each time after I wash it. It keep the paint shiny and smooth and I have noticed that I don’t get a lot of oxidation clinging on the paint.
