Features

  • OVERBUILT POWER RACK - The Alpha3000 Power Rack is made for the home gym owner who wants the ability to lift heavy and have a ton of versatility. Just like with our other squat racks, we sweated the details to make sure we created a power rack we'd be proud to own.
  • 1,000 LB STATIC WEIGHT CAPACITY - A power rack should be able to handle heavy slag iron for decades of abuse. We designed the Alpha3000 to remain rigid regardless of the weight on the barbell leaving the trainee feeling safe and focused on their lifts.
  • MULTI-GRIP PULL-UP BAR STANDARD - Every Alpha3000 comes standard with our custom multi-grip pull-up bar designed for prone, neutral, and supine grip chin-ups. Building a barn door back requires a lot of pulling variance and volume; this is the pull up bar designed to get you there.
  • UNIQUE FEATURES THROUGHOUT - Featuring lined j-cups to protect barbell knurling, a tough black powdercoat, black zinc hardware, textured powdercoat on the pull-up bar, safety spotter arms and other details not commonly found on a power rack at this price point.
  • CREATED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE HOME GYM - Not that we have anything against commercial gyms, but there's nothing like having a space of your own to weight train. The Alpha3000 is sized in such a way to fit in most home gyms while providing the durability needed for even the most careless trainees.

Style Name: Alpha3000
It’s a home gym. I’m 5’9.” Would have preferred a higher pull-up section, but with a standard 8 foot ceiling, it works. Paint scratches easily, but is to be expected with the price. Easy to assemble. 14 gauge metal is not a thick gauge, but what I lift isn’t going to stress it much. If you’re taller than me, probably best to get something taller. Giving it 4 stars because the writer’s description of the product is too hyped. I would understand if the product was made out of 1/4in steel, but then again, it would be much more expensive. ... show more

  • Good quality, good rack
Well-designed (comes together well with redundant load-bearing plates at key junctures). Pieces came together nicely. Has a good quality feel to it. I fit inside the cage easily without any worry about elbows hitting anything, and I'm a lanky 6'4" with ridiculously long arms & legs. The instructions say you get 28 of the bolts, but only 24 are in the package. It turns out you only need 24. The instructions also say to use 4 flat and 4 lock washers for the final step, but there aren't any left by the time you get to that. But it turns out, the bolt is flat against a separate metal surface that functions as the washer, so you really don't need them after all, and they are probably missing because they aren't needed. But the instructions haven't been updated to reflect that yet. So don't worry if you're missing hardware, you are probably good. I highly recommend this rack and would buy it again in a second if I knew then what I know now. ... show more

  • A Must-Have For a Home Gym
This power rack is extremely high quality and offers all the functionality that should be expected of a power rack. Firstly, it is far higher quality than I expected and extremely sturdy. Overall, the fit and finish of the rack is stellar and all the parts are clearly high quality and should last a long time! The included safety bars are very dense and seem as if they would be able to handle a significant amount of weight, if the situation demanded it. The included J-Hooks are also very high quality and feel firm as long as they are locked in properly. The pull-up bar design is pretty solid with a lot of different grip options and a very appropriate bar-width. As far as assembly, it was much easier than I expected. I assembled it by myself. I used a 16mm wrench and socket/ratchet for most of the build, so make sure you have those tools available. Additionally, it is a 2x2 rack, so it fits 2x2 rack attachments, of which there are many available options; such as: dip bars, weight holders, etc. All in all, the rack looks like a professional quality rack and is nicer than some racks I have seen in public gyms. I would definitely recommend this rack for anyone looking to have a serious home gym capability. ... show more

  • (Edit: company gave full refund)
EDIT: I must say the company’s customer service was better than I initially perceived. When I sent photos of the damage to the rack as evidence that it arrived used, they insisted they’d give me a full refund upon return. They followed thru on that so I must commend them and alter what I said to say that although I wasn’t pleased with the product, they do stand behind it and offer solid customer service. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This product failed miserably in meeting my expectations: -upon arrival I noted the packaging was excellent. All components were well protected and the boxes were not damaged by shipping. Despite this, it was evident that this item was used as it had lots of scratches which clearly wasn’t caused by shipping as the cardboard boxes arrived in good shape. -extremely cheap quality, clearly sourced in China. They couldn’t even put their “Grind” stickers on straight. -upon assembly, holes were not lining up properly in order to secure the upright posts with the guide plates that are on either side. In other words stability, usability, and safety were impossible. Unacceptable quality. This must have been why whoever got this rack before me returned it to them. -return policy is 10% restocking fee and charging the customer shipping back. For a product that arrived damaged and used. Unreal. Trash company that won’t stand. behind their trash product. ... show more

  • Good rack
Got this in Feb, it works well. Does all i need it to do. Have no complaints. It is not overly sturdy but for the price works great, the pullup bar is good and functional, the problem there would be smooth bar and hard to grip, use bear complex grips and it is fine. The numbers up the holes are good addition for lining things up. Bought plate holders to add weight and stability to the back of the rack. ... show more

  • Worth it
It's sturdy and well designed, though the inclusion of neutral grip bars forces non-neutral grip pull ups and chin ups to be either wide or close-grip. Few issues with quality control: corrosion on a few bolts & all of the support plates paint coating had flaked. I'd still buy it again and would recommend it. ... show more

  • The value is great
The value I have gotten from this product is awesome. This is no rogue squat rack but the next best thing at a reasonable price. As a 18 year old male who lifts a lot this rack is great. I have no regrets choosing this one. The J Cups are very nice and the rack does not move much. Very sturdy and will work for most intermediate lifters. ... show more
