This was a gift for my hisband’s birthday he was very happy with how well it cleans the grill. The only downside is that to charge the grillbot it must be plugged into a USB port. After cleaning the grill which is on our back porch he has to take it into to our office to be able to charge it.

I like it a lot. Works as advertised. Pricey but worth the money. May want to wait for it to go on sale. Seems to go on sale often. Runs over 2 hours on 1 charge. I’m happy with the purchase

I remove and clean the brushes after every use, as well as wiping down the entire machine. After only using the grillbot 4 times, I found that one of the brushes would not come off of the spindle, no matter how hard I pushed the release button on the brush. After finally getting the brush off and cleaning, I found that two of the brushes no longer lock onto the spindle. They just fall off. Upon inspection I noticed that the small tabs that retract/protract to remove/secure the brushes were missing/broken on two of the spindles. I contacted the manufacturer, because surely a product less than a week old and only being used 4 times HAS to have this type of defect covered under warranty…. NOPE. I received a response fairly quickly, I was impressed. The response was that these components are AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE directly from Grillbot or Amazon….not impressed. Seriously, you’re making me have to pay for a defect in a new product?!?! I have seen the Grillbot commercials for quite awhile, and considered the product to be just another cheaply made gimmick. I finally decided to give it a try. It does a decent job of cleaning the grates, but if I have to pay $10 for replacement parts (that’s what a 3 pack of these spindles cost) after every 4th use, it’s not worth the convenience. My initial impression of the product after seeing the tv commercials was 100% correct. It’s an overpriced, poorly made gimmick. BUYER BEWARE!
