I love grilling, and that means grates need cleaning. I've used all sorts of grill brushes, but most of them share the common failure of either losing bits of metal brush bits, or just falling apart because of poor quality materials, or rusting out after just one grilling season. I finally decided to take a bit of a leap and pay a bit more for quality, and this brush delivers. The bristles somehow all stay on the brush despite aggressive scraping and brushing. I know you're not supposed to apply a lot of pressure when you brush the grate but seriously, who actually doesn't put in a bit of elbow grease to scrape off those charred bits off? And unless you just let your grill run on full heat for an hour to completely burn off those bits, you're just going to have to put some pressure on that brush to get that crud off. I'm happy to say that this grill brush will hold up to your abuse and will not deform or bend or end up with a matted brush head after a few uses. This is my second time purchasing this brush. My last grill brush lasted about 3 years of year-round regular use, about twice a week, before the bristles finally wore down and were not really usable. During that time, no part of the brush rusted despite being left outside the whole time and the handle stayed sturdy and strong and didn't flex under pressure. It's pricy, no question about it, but it's good quality and stands up to abuse and does a heck of a job clearing up your grates in no time so you can get grilling. Whenever the current one I'm using dies, I'm buying another in a heartbeat. And I like this teal color handle. I was initially torn between this brush and Kona’s other grill brush. It is very high quality product with respect to what it’s made to do - clean your grilling surface. Other grill brushes like those made by Weber are similarly price but in my opinion are not as well made as this brush and feel flimsy. I have had mine for almost three months and use it about every other day. I have not noticed any degradation of the bristles and when you use hot water on the hot surface, I still get a quality deep cleaning. If this brush still functions in a decent manner after six months, I’ll be happy and will probably purchase another one. ... show more

One of the best grill brushes I've used. I like to clean my grill off before each use, and this worked like a charm. I haven't used with water yet, for steam cleaning, but I heat my grill to 500 for 10-15 minutes and this brush makes quick work of stuck on leftovers. I like being able to turn it sideways to get in between grates. Probably have to replace every season, but for the price, it's a no brainer. ... show more

Got this for him for fathers day (so over three months ago) and he loves it. We got a new grill half way though that time and it worked equally well getting the old one clean as keeping the new one clean. The shape of the brush isn't a gimmick, it works very nicely. This is a beast. Other models of grill brushes the bristles flatten. This handle is beefy and makes hard scrubbing comfortable and not feeling like it will break 6 months in and I grill 3 times a week generally. Will buy again if I ever need a new but wonder if will ever wear out. 5 stars.
