I have a Kudu braai grill which is an open top hybrid grill. Without a cover, it can get intensely hot working close to the grill. This spatula solves that problem. It’s quality made and will last for years. It’s balanced well and cleans up easy.

This thing will give your arm a workout, it is that heavy. Very well made, the length is a bit ridiculous, but you never have to worry about burning yourself because it's so long. Every year I would have to buy new flipper for the grill, but not anymore. Pretty sure this sucker will last many many years. It's expensive, but we'll worth it.

This is a great looking grilling spatula. The riveted wood handle looks great and feels high quality. The spatula head is sturdy and has a nice beveled edge that is great for sliding under meat and cleanly separating it from the grill. The long handle makes it great for getting deep into the grill while reducing exposure to heat and smoke Use: I did get the opportunity to use this on some burgers. I found that flipping a burger is challenging the way I typically do it and requires a bit more exaggerated motion due to the long length and offset of the spatula head. I could get used to it but I don't think it will ever feel natural and will take some effort. Otherise it works fine and the beveled edge works great for cleanly releasing chicken and burgers. Only complaint The spatula has quite a bit of flex from left to right. It is fine for the most part for burgers and what not and it really hasn't been much of an issue for me but it could pose an issue for larger heavier pieces of meat. Final thoughts This is a good grill spatula that looks great and works fairly well. It takes some practice to use but its worth it on a hot summer day to get away from the flames. Overall I recommend it and think it would make a great present.

We grill about 1,200 burgers and 300 hot dogs for a customer appreciation event during the summer. Our guys were burning their hands on the original spatula and had requested a longer handle. So, I crossed my fingers and got these. Man, these things are heavy duty. You could knock someone out with one! They worked great at our event and I will probably get a few more to have for backups just in case. We do about 2,000 burgers throughout the year and these bad boys are doing great with them!

I was looking for a extremely-long-handle hamburger flipper and found this one at 24 " was the top contender. I was a bit surprised at the price but once I received it, I understood. Basically if someone breaks in my house, I am not picking up my ball bat but this tool. It isn't too heavy but feels great in your hands. It is NOT flimsy and extremely easy to use. It works great. Purchase the matching 24" fork and that was great too. You can't go wrong with either of these tools. It is too long to put in the dish washer but I don't mind washing it in my sink. These will last a lifetime and beyond.

We got a pretty large grill, and as a gift received extendable utensils. They were still nowhere near long enough to reach the back of the grill without burning my husband. These are great. For reference, I am a petite, 5’2” female. I thought the stock pictures made it look pretty flimsy, but it’s definitely not so.
