It's perfectly sized for an apartment. Instructions were easy to read but assembly definitely takes 2 people. I managed by myself but not everyone is able to do that. It does come in 2 packages. One had the couch, another had the automan part for the "chase" section. Box A arrived quickly, but Box B was lost in transit; seller provided a second Box B with priority shipping. Once received, assembly was easy with moderate time consumption. The end result is a good sofa that feels sturdy, fairly comfortable, and a good value.

I am impressed with how this couch turned out after assembling it. 1). setup was pretty simple. Theres only 2 different screw sizes so it's easy to follow which to use without getting confused. 2) I am happy with the way the couch looks. It looks expensive and high end but at an affordable price. It's gotten a lot of compliments from people coming over. 3) the cushion thickness is enough to sit on comfortably which was one thing that made this item stand out from other couches that were similar. Do not buy this sofa! I received a defective product where the base of the sofa has a preinstalled metal bar that sticks out when sitting in the middle. So uncomfortable! The company is claiming it was assembly error. However, I paid to have the sofa professionally installed and monitored the assembly. Every step was followed. The sofa was assembled and boxes recycled. Now I am stuck with a defective product and only way to receive a refund is to pay again for disassembly, purchase packaging, and pay for proper transportation to send back. That alone will cost more than the actual sofa. This has been such a headache! look elsewhere! Money down the drain, save your hard earned money! ... show more

I initially read five-star reviews and was very optimistic. This piece was not available on prime, so I paid the additional $100 for shipping. After receiving the sofa and assembling, I was so disappointed. Not sure how anybody gave this more than one star. I’m fortunate to have bought the extended warranty- I have had this about a month now and the legs are already shaky. The cushions are hard as a rock, and by no means comfortable. This sofa is the smallest piece I have ever seen…would be perfect for a Barbie house, but even too small for my 700sf apartment. Don’t waste your money. ... show more
