We really like the sturdiness and looks of these Acacia solid wood cabinets (Qty 2). They are simple to assemble and are well packaged. One piece of advice is that as the wood ages (especially in Florida's high UV) it darkens and if you place an object without moving it, it will be noticeably lighter underneath in just days...so move things often. We are also adding some adjustable leveling feet because we have brick pavers; and we wiped down with furniture oil to smoothen out rough spots and remove any shipping package residue. ... show more

This is a stunning piece of furniture that should age well outdoors. I am using mine on my screened porch as a buffet, bar, and extra storage. The cut shapes on the side are such a unique addition to the design and the acacia wood is a warm honey tone that seems similar to teak. Simply wiping it with a damp cloth to clean should keep this oily tropical hardwood in good shape. Add the multi-functionality of this piece and it's a winner for me. The doors come pre-installed on one segment, making the assembly quick and easy (be sure to note the "top" of pieces in the directions). All tools and hardware are provided and were high-quality. I had this together in about half an hour. The wood slats on all sides would allow water in if it's exposed to the elements, but I'm using mine under a roof so this is not an issue for me. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to others for either indoor or outdoor use. ... show more

The only thing I did to it was put a coat of polyurethane on it early on as the Florida weather I could see was going to be tough on it. I should say we leave this outside in the weather 24/7. Beautiful Addition to my Front Porch. I wanted to add interest to the front porch as you walk up to my front door. It’s the perfect size and scale. The cabinet underneath gives me a place to store garden wands, pest control, and my garden gloves—all things I need on the regular in the front of my house. It was fairly easy to put together. It took me about two hours, but I took my time. I did have a little trouble putting the inside shelf together but I think it’s correct because the piece is very sturdy and has no wobbly parts. It seems to be wearing well too. I put it together in April and between watering, sweeping, being outside, I can’t see any changes in the wood appearance. I have gotten it wet when I water and clean off the porch but the wood always returns back to normal. There is no delineation between where it got wet and where it was dry. I do not have this piece in direct sunlight or rain, meaning it’s covered. It does get wet when we have huge downpours but it seems fine every time.
