This lawnmower was a replacement of a combustion engine propelled mover. That alone is a positive endeavor to help ‘Mother Earth’ as it struggles with climate changes. All that aside, it performs wonderfully well under various conditions. The mover is surprisingly strong, cutting and mulching is unimpeded by thickness or hight of the grass. Battery holds well for a mid to larger size of my yard.

Used this mower to cut the grass in my yard for a little more than a year now. Very satisfied. Able to cut about 1/3 of an acre (front and back) on one charge. Look for a 5AH battery.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this mower and used it before realizing that unlike most things you buy on Amazon, once you have opened a greenworks mower, you can’t return it., even IF it is faulty and has safety issues! This mower has a habit of not shutting down self propel when the handles are released, and just kept going and mowing. Stopped when I caught up and flicked the handle again, but customer service confirmed this shouldn’t happen. Hours on hold and then giving every detail of all parts serial and model numbers, battery and charger too, sending photos of all, plus the video, only to find out only option is they send me a new one. No possibilty to refund, I have to be responsible to scrap for parts and pitch the rest in a landfill (not the reason I went electric) and now use a mower from a company I don’t trust. It’s easy to find people with similar experiences online, it seems if you want to risk that you’ll never need customer service or parts replacement for an older mower and want to buy greenworks anyway, Costco and maybe Walmart may take returns if you have any issues. But Amazon and buying direct from greenworks, will not allow returns.

Cutting deck needs re-engineered. If the grass is longer, with even a small amount of dew on it, the discharge area to the bag clogs immediately and clippings build up on the underside of the cutting deck around the blades. Blades don't seem to be very durable, hopefully there are better aftermarket blades available. Battery does last long enough to cut my 1/4 acre of lawn.

I was really anxious about ordering a lawn mower through the mail, but it was a breeze. There was very little assembly and the instructions were good. We've now mowed our large lawn once with it, and we both like it and I'm able to manage it, which is good since my upper body strength is weaker. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars for an overall rating is that we're new to it. I'd like to make sure that it is durable and reliable over time but if it is, my rating would absolutely go up to 5 stars. One other comment - I bought an extra battery when I ordered the lawn mower and so we had both in it when we mowed our lawn. But, it only used one of those, and not even completely emptied it.

Takes awhile to get used to the mulching mode and you have to wait a second or two when you pull it in reverse but I like it the more I use it.

Easy to use, quiet and clean. I would recommend this product even though it's a bit pricy, especially the batteries. Only one minor complaint; the controls can pinch your hand if you are not careful, these parts should be designed better or have better covers over the pinch point.
