Lawn guys come and go, and all my lawn can do is grow and grow. We live in the land of 0 radius riding mowers. I want about to spend $1000+ on a ten yo used mower "with minor issues." While this mower was pricey for us, it'll pay for itself in just a few months not paying someone. This mower is amazing! I'm 64 yo woman, I had no trouble at all on about 3/4 acre lawn that was overgrown because our yard guy had to quit due to health. I used to hate mowing... Actually mowing is ok, starting mowers is what I hated. It's quiet compared to gas mowers, I listened to music on ear buds only slightly elevated volume. So easy to start. Hold button down then engage blade with grip bar. Engage wheels with other parallel grip bar. Other reviews (perhaps other models?) some complained about waiting for wheels to engage/disengage. I had none of that. Instantly moved/stopped as needed. Also, if you want to freewheel it for maneuvering, just release drive bar, push forward a couple inches to release wheel locking (presumed safety feature) then push and pull as needed. The "throttle" is great, lowest setting an easy medium pace for me in tougher areas of yard. Then I can adjust faster for flat and easy areas. I think it would be adjustable for even those with long legs and a faster pace. Large wheels made small work of our somewhat bumpy and occasionally inclined yard. Powerful enough to easily go up those inclined (15%+-) areas without lagging, and went back down at the same pace so it wasn't dragging me. The charger got the battery from 0 to 100% in about half hour. I'll try to attach a before pic of how tall the grass was, and the mower never bogged down, cut consistently and evenly, handled it like a champ. I ran without bag since there was too much to cut. And we usually had the lawn guy run bagless anyway. The bag is rather small, so that might be an issue for some. No fuel or oil to bother with, no smelly exhaust, storing with it's space saving set up is great. I cut the 3/4 acre front, side, and back lawn areas in about 35 minutes. I'd go back out and edge, but our trimmer is gas powered πŸ˜‰. ... show more

After 50 years of gas push mowers we pulled the trigger on this guy. Well worth it - no plugs, no oil, no pull starting , no smell, and much less noise. Quite powerful, at least as good as the the Honda 1.5 horse that it replaced. Battery is good for almost an hour and a half for routine every week mowing. The 75 minutes battery life advertised is when the grass is extra high and thick and using the self propel feature 3/4 of the job. Starts easily and runs very smoothly. Easy to store. The mower works very well and was able to cut down dry 12” grass with ease. The OEM blade works great and fills the bag COMPLETELY. I wish it came with two batteries but I guess it’s nice to get a break to work on something else while it charges. All the attachments fit great and work well. Things I would change: - Make it so I can choose how fast the blade spins - Ability to have the drive motor go slower, a wider range of speeds - Add a headlight ... show more

The Greenworks Pro is a great mower with one issue. The mower has a great design and nice feel for adequate handling. The battery lasts a long time and proved to handle my third of an acre yard with no issues. The mower seemed to go over overgrown grass with little effort and spools up when it goes through higher grass to handle the pressure required to cut the grass. The mower cuts the grass even, and the self propelled feature offers some assistance in the movement of the mower. My only complaint and it's a deal breaker, is that the self propeller does not flawlessly go on (at least not always), and the mower is extremely hard to push without utilizing the propelled feature. I can get the propeller to kick on but it can take up to three attempts to get it to engage at times. This can cause a delay in mowing and I don't have time for that. Lastly, the propelled feature does not allow you to walk faster than the set speed as there will be resistance from the propelled feature. ... show more

This review is for the 21-Inch 5Ah MO80L510. Push-button startup was easy, battery lasted long enough for me to get my front yard cut and half of my backyard so their claim of battery life/sq ft coverage is accurate. Also, my grass was very deep and overgrown because it hadn't been cut in over a month... but this mower plowed right through it just like our (now deceased) gas mower could. This mower is half as loud and half as heavy. The only catch was at first it appeared the self-propel feature was not working. I read the manual etc and called their support line, hold time was less than a minute on a Sunday afternoon, and it turns out thar with this model you have to push and hold the start button, squeeze the motor bar, AND squeeze the self-propel bar BEFORE releasing the start button... it doesn't say this in the manual. ... show more
