Before I purchased this mower, I had real doubts about how well an electric mower would perform. This has been one of the best things I could have ever bought. The first time I used it, my grass was quite tall and thick in certain spots (it rains a lot where I live, and it can be difficult to time cutting between rain and my work schedule); this mower was able to cut through some of the thickest areas that my gas mower would not have been able to do nearly as well. This mower cut the grass cleanly and evenly. To do the entire front and back yard the first time required 2.5 battery charges; the second time I cut the same area 2 weeks later (so, much less growth to start with), it did not even use 2 full battery charges to do the job. I love the automatic battery changeover option, being able to load 2 charged batteries at once in the mower. The deck is raised and lowered with great ease, and the handle folds down very simply, making storage a breeze. The headlight is also a nice feature, which is really helpful if you like to cut grass later in the day, when it's a tad bit cooler like I do. It is not terribly noisy and is a pretty tough mower! The grass catcher also is very easy to attach and detach for emptying. This mower helps me not hate cutting my grass nearly as much, which is quite a feat in itself! Highly recommend. ... show more

My first electric lawnmower and far Better than expected and so much easier to start and use. Only drawback is the battery and thus the mower are heavier but aside from the exceptional quality and value and quiet with lights. I have a half acre and can mow twice with one charge

I had a blue Kobalt corded $100 special from Lowe’s that worked but just didn’t have the power and the cord was absolutely the most annoying thing. I looked for awhile until I found an awesome deal on this mower. I only got one battery which was a little risky because my yard is a few thousand square feet. I will probably get a second someday but the cool part is that it comes with this supercharger that sounds like a jet engine and fully charges the battery in a few hours!! So yeah the charger is noisy like a fan but when charging is done then it quiets down. I just put in my garage and forgot about it over the winter and it was ready when I needed it. The mower has several height settings and isn’t self-propelled. It folds up nice and stores upright well-balanced so it doesn’t take up room. I recommend using the grass bag and not mulching to get better battery life, but mulching is sometimes good to do so use judgement. The mower does have a turbo option that really does noticeably better on tall grass but it eats the battery double time. I used it last year but not this year…. I just had to go over long spots a couple times in the first couple mows of the year. Super easy to use and assembly was a breeze. I hope you like it!! ... show more

I got this on sale about a month ago and so far it’s been great. I have a quarter acre lot and so far I can cut my lawn twice before having to recharge. Not sure how long the battery will hold up but so far it’s been great. Very light and easy to use. I would say my grass is pretty thick.Hopefully it lasts. Very happy so far. ... show more

This lawn mower is easy to assemble, lightweight, and powerful enough to handle a full yard on one charge. It cuts the grass very short and evenly, and the battery lasts long enough for my entire lawn. It’s also much quieter than a gas mower and easy to store.I used to pay for a lawn service, but this mower saves me money and keeps my yard looking just as good. The only minor issue is that it makes a bit of noise when pulling it backward, but it doesn’t affect performance. I was going to get the self-propelled version, but this one is so much lighter. No need for more moving parts that could fail. This thing cuts well and is super quiet. I like the ability to fold it up and store it without worrying about fluids leaking. Looking forward to not changing the oil, messing with the carb, and all the other maintenance my other mower required. I am probably going to get another battery so I can mow on "turbo" the entire time. Got the extended warranty through Amazon, which was cheap. No complaints so far and highly recommend. So now I have the mower, edger, string trimmer, blower, pole saw, and hedge trimmer. Some of these I have had for 15 years. Not a single issue, other than ones caused by myself. Thinking of replacing my zero turn with one of theirs, but my JD has many years of service left in it. ... show more

Love this mower!! It's powerful, efficient...it's better than any gas mower I have ever owned. It devours tall grass. Zero hesitation. And no "range anxiety. " I can easily do my and my neighbor's lawn and have plenty of juice left over. And so easy to clean and store.

Works good. No issues. Assembly is quick. Not sure it can really do half an acre on one charge. Takes me 3 to get it done. Caveats - terrain is not flat and any use of the drive assist kills battery life. Blade base is good. A bit heavy so my wife struggled go maneuver it a bit. Drive assist helps but makes taking tight turns difficult. Charging station is quite loud when it’s running so keep it in the garage. Try to pick this up while it’s on sale and you will likely be happy with the value. ... show more
