It cuts through long grass just on the blade that comes with the mower attached, but it's also nice that you get a second blade included for really tall grass. The battery for it runs pretty long and lasts pretty long to get a great amount of grass cut. Charging the battery doesn't take very long either which is very nice. This thing is an absolute beast. I was highly skeptical of the performance of a battery powered mower, but I needed to replace my 8 year old Hyper Tough push mower that finally met the true death recently. When I saw this one as a Prime Day deal for $299, I jumped on it. Assembly was simple and only took about 10 minutes. Took about 20 minutes to fully charge the battery. It's light, easy to maneuver, and best of all quiet. No more ear pro when I mow. Mowed the next day. My grass was tall, thick, and pretty damp from the humidity, but The Green Meanie tore through it like it was a golf course that had been mowed yesterday. Blows the old gas mower out of the water. I'd normally have to stop every 10 minutes to clean out the wet grass from under the deck, but with this one, I only had to stop to empty the bag a few times. I let my neighbor try it out, now he wants one, too. ... show more

This lawn mower is easy to assemble, lightweight, and powerful enough to handle a full yard on one charge. It cuts the grass very short and evenly, and the battery lasts long enough for my entire lawn. It’s also much quieter than a gas mower and easy to store.I used to pay for a lawn service, but this mower saves me money and keeps my yard looking just as good. The only minor issue is that it makes a bit of noise when pulling it backward, but it doesn’t affect performance.     • BEWARE! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Let me start with the ONLY positive: The lawnmower itself was nice! We got the 60v Cordless Push (non propelled) with the 5.0Ah battery and it did the job very well. Super quiet, very light and with plenty of power. First negative: The charger stopped working (wouldn’t even turn on) after I used it twice. Just flat out died for no reason. Would this alone cause me to come back here and slam the company? Of course not, stuff happens. But… Second negative: THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTENT! No exaggeration, I called them 12 times over the course of 16 days so I could get another charger. On hold for an HOUR for 10 of my attempts, for TWO HOURS on one… and on my 12th and FINAL ATTEMPT? ….3 F’N HOURS. I NEVER got anyone on the line. Triple checked that I had the correct number and always called during their business hours. That’s completely UNACCEPTABLE. It’s downright disrespectful to the folks who spend their hard earned money on their products. Do the math. I spent 15 HOURS of my life listening to this company’s on-hold muzak. Unless the discharged clippings are coming out as dollar bills instead of grass …I will NOT own a $500 lawnmower from a company that thinks this is okay. Period. I returned the mower and Amazon was an absolute joy during the return process (they really were great) …and my money was refunded in a matter of days. DO BETTER, GREENWORKS ... show more
