I was going to get the self-propelled version, but this one is so much lighter. No need for more moving parts that could fail. This thing cuts well and is super quiet. I like the ability to fold it up and store it without worrying about fluids leaking. Looking forward to not changing the oil, messing with the carb, and all the other maintenance my other mower required. I am probably going to get another battery so I can mow on "turbo" the entire time. Got the extended warranty through Amazon, which was cheap. No complaints so far and highly recommend. So now I have the mower, edger, string trimmer, blower, pole saw, and hedge trimmer. Some of these I have had for 15 years. Not a single issue, other than ones caused by myself.     • Dream come true for going cordless on a budget

I had a blue Kobalt corded $100 special from Lowe’s that worked but just didn’t have the power and the cord was absolutely the most annoying thing. I looked for awhile until I found an awesome deal on this mower. I only got one battery which was a little risky because my yard is a few thousand square feet. I will probably get a second someday but the cool part is that it comes with this supercharger that sounds like a jet engine and fully charges the battery in a few hours!! So yeah the charger is noisy like a fan but when charging is done then it quiets down. I just put in my garage and forgot about it over the winter and it was ready when I needed it. The mower has several height settings and isn’t self-propelled. It folds up nice and stores upright well-balanced so it doesn’t take up room. I recommend using the grass bag and not mulching to get better battery life, but mulching is sometimes good to do so use judgement. The mower does have a turbo option that really does noticeably better on tall grass but it eats the battery double time. I used it last year but not this year…. I just had to go over long spots a couple times in the first couple mows of the year. Super easy to use and assembly was a breeze. I hope you like it!! ... show more

This was my first electric lawnmower purchase. I was skeptical and if it would work or not. But come to find out this lawnmower is worth every penny. The set up is so easy only takes a few minutes. My battery was fully charged out of the box. It’s beyond white so it’s very easy to push. It’s also very quiet. I have a medium size yard and it did my left in front of my front yard and my backyard which is pretty big all on one charge. I highly recommend this line of electric machines for outdoors because it’s a value. It’s not overcharging customers. I am just blown away from how easy and how great the product is. ... show more

I fought using a battery operated anything for a long time. Yes, i am a cavewoman. Yet I liked the idea of not having to worry with gas & oil. I worried it would not do as well as a gas mower. It does! It is wonderful. All you do is keep the battery charged and clean it after use. Get an extra battery. I cut an acre so having two is perfect. If you have two they auto switch over so you do not have to stop & recharge. It is very easy to use. Light weight. Nice cut. Adjustable cut heights. My yard is hilly. I use closest cut around house on flat land. I raise it for hilly areas. No troubles. Store batteries inside. I store the mower inside as well. It folds and can be lifted easily by my son and I. Will buy other greenworks products now. Very impressed. ... show more

This lawn mower is easy to assemble, lightweight, and powerful enough to handle a full yard on one charge. It cuts the grass very short and evenly, and the battery lasts long enough for my entire lawn. It’s also much quieter than a gas mower and easy to store.I used to pay for a lawn service, but this mower saves me money and keeps my yard looking just as good. The only minor issue is that it makes a bit of noise when pulling it backward, but it doesn’t affect performance.     • BEWARE! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

Let me start with the ONLY positive: The lawnmower itself was nice! We got the 60v Cordless Push (non propelled) with the 5.0Ah battery and it did the job very well. Super quiet, very light and with plenty of power. First negative: The charger stopped working (wouldn’t even turn on) after I used it twice. Just flat out died for no reason. Would this alone cause me to come back here and slam the company? Of course not, stuff happens. But… Second negative: THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NON-EXISTENT! No exaggeration, I called them 12 times over the course of 16 days so I could get another charger. On hold for an HOUR for 10 of my attempts, for TWO HOURS on one… and on my 12th and FINAL ATTEMPT? ….3 F’N HOURS. I NEVER got anyone on the line. Triple checked that I had the correct number and always called during their business hours. That’s completely UNACCEPTABLE. It’s downright disrespectful to the folks who spend their hard earned money on their products. Do the math. I spent 15 HOURS of my life listening to this company’s on-hold muzak. Unless the discharged clippings are coming out as dollar bills instead of grass …I will NOT own a $500 lawnmower from a company that thinks this is okay. Period. I returned the mower and Amazon was an absolute joy during the return process (they really were great) …and my money was refunded in a matter of days. DO BETTER, GREENWORKS ... show more
