  • I REALLY Like It
Style: 18"Mower(Corded)
I bought this mower in early February and, since I live in Florida, I started using it almost immediately and have been using it continuously for 5 months. I have to mow about 1/4 acre of healthy St. Augustine (I have a 1/2 acre lot). Healthy St. Augustine means deep grass. I am a 69 year old fit woman and it takes me 2 hours to mow. If you see mowing as a form of exercise and not as a death wish, then you may well like this mower. It is like pushing a large fan around the lawn. NOT NOISY. NO SMELL. NO GAS. NO OIL. NO PULLING TO START. STARTS EVERY TIME. However it does involve a LOT of real pushing. It is a PUSH MOWER after all. Having read almost a bazillion reviews I can state that the rear flap has never gotten caught in the blades nor have the handles broken on my mower. It comes basically fully assembled. I have not had any experience with customer service, so have no input there. This mower is so inexpensive that you could easily replace it annually. I read quite a few reviews about the battery powered mowers of all brands and opted for the reliability of a corded mower over a more expensive battery operated version that may fail to keep a charge sufficient to finish a job. Just remember to mow in rows progressively farther from the power source and you won't have an undue amount of cord flipping. Also, always remember that if a cord can get caught on something, 99 times out of 100 it will. If you understand this is the way of the world, then you cease to be amazed and aggravated each time it happens. I think a small re-design by the manufacturer of the casing at the left rear wheel would deflect the cord from going under the wheel which it does every time you make a turn with the left side facing the power source. I just lift the cord with my foot when I see the cord is headed for the wheel and soldier on. Grass catches in several places on the underside of the casing near the wheels. While it does not affect mowing, it should probably be removed to prevent rusting. FOLLOW UP: It is now almost December so I thought I would note my further impressions. First, I added REALLY to the title and changed the rating to 5 stars from 4. Second, the mower has stood up to heavy and frequent usage with only one hiccup. There are nuts on the handle that can loosen and fall off. Routinely check to be sure these are snug. I lost one in the grass. I found it impossible to find the replacement part from the manufacturer even after live chat with customer service. A trip to the hardware store came up with a satisfactory solution. ... show more

  • Super easy to use
Style: 21" SP Mower combo
Just received my Greenworks mower/trimmer/blower. I am a 70 year old lady and found these products super easy to use. My yard was quite the mess so had to stop short of finishing to recharge but that was ok with me. I needed the break anyway. I love no cords, no gas, no pulling on a cord to start. The mower was smooth and easy to control. It was so easy to lower and raise the deck for transport and to meet the height of grass. It did a great job. The trimmer finished the whole yard without stopping to restring or extend the cord. So far I am loving this product. ... show more

  • Don’t let your yard get out of hand like I did!
Style: 21" SP Mower combo
I couldn’t be more pleased with how easy the mower, weed eater and blower were to assemble. Once I started mowing ( knowing my yard was very tall) in my back yard its power went right to work. Using the self propelled option the traction was great ( no slippage) even with the grass being a little damp. It lightweight and durability so far have been pretty great. The plastic wheels, the shoot and bag barrier held up with the mulching option. Now the kicker, the battery life!! Like I said before my back yard was very tall! It mowed 95% of my back yard on its first run,(roughly 35 to 45 minutes). I took the batteries out let them cool down and recharged them. Getting dark so I finished the next day, mowing what was left in the back yard, the sides of my home and the front yard. ( recommend buying another set of batteries if you want to finish in a timely manner). On to the next piece, the weed eater, power is great, lightweight, durable, a little difficult to assemble, but my fault for not reading the instructions properly. Again back yard was tall! I was able to finish the whole back yard on a single charge. Then there is the blower, attached the tube and off we went, lasted about 25 seconds, ( it uses the same battery as the weed eater) so you can see my brain malfunction when it stopped. Let the battery cool down and recharged. The next day I was able to finish mowing, weed eating and blowing all the grass off the driveway and sidewalks with ease.( on a single charge. So with all that being said!! I should be able to now complete my yard on a single charge ( since I let it get to tall, 3 weeks of growth tall) waiting for the products to be delivered, procrastinate much, not usually, but I did a lot of reading reviews, price checks etc! Overall I am very pleased with the outcome. My yard looks great! Off to buy another set of batteries though…just in case! Lol… oh and if you look at the pictures you can see my neighbors yards, the first pic, about how tall my grass was before mowing and weed eating. The second pic the home is vacant. My grass wasn’t that tall!! I hope this review will inspire you to do your homework . Best regards, Travis E in Kansas ... show more
