Works very well. I only use it to remove dirt and leaves from garage, driveway, sidewalks, steps, flowerbeds (we use stones, not mulch) and porches. I love not having to drag a cord around and or to have to full with gasoline. I have had all three types. I like this the best. The power is more than amble for my purposes and because it is so convenient and easy to use, things have never been so clean around the outside of my house or in my garage. Battery life a little short. Good for me--only blowing leaves away from the house and deck so mower bagger can pick up. If you need more than a half hour or so buy the bigger blower with a bigger battery. Blower is nice and light. Works well.

    • Decent little leaf blower for the money

I received this today. After some confusion about the charger- it indicated a full charge out of the box but the battery lasted only 10 minutes, and when I put it back in the charger it still showed a full charge. A call to customer service and a little patience and I have a fully charged battery. Apparently the fully charged indicator lights changed to charging while I was on the phone to Greenworks. So, I resumed my leaf blowing without a problem. The charger is light weight and can be hung on the wall. it charges pretty fast- less than the 75 minutes the manuals stated. As for the battery, it is interchangeable with a number of Greenworks products that use a 40 volt nominal power source. So, if I want a Greenworks weed whacker, I only have to buy the tool, and then I can use this battery in it. They also offer chain saws, lawn mowers, and other tools using thiss power source. The unit is lightweight, comfortable in hand, and does the job well. It isn't that quiet, though. The manual recommends hearing protection. As for power, you're out of luck if you want to clear a fallen tree off your driveway, but for its intended use it's just fine. I had concerns about buying Greenworks products as I bought an electric chipper/shredder a few years back which failed after less than two seasons- a broken switch- which they couldn't provide a replacement part for. It's still sitting in my garage. It worked OK but I would have expected a nearly $200 (then) machine to hold up better. Someday I'll fix it or get electrocuted trying. At his price, the leaf blower is disposable. and expectations shouldn't be that high. I have noted the problems Canadian customers have had with ordering a battery for this unit, and complaints of unresponsive customer service. I didn't experience problems with customer service but I sure would be torqued if I were sold a tool that I couldn't get a battery for (note, you can buy a tool without a battery,, so a battery if needed for replacement or additional reserve power would be needed). Canadian customers also note that the interchangeability of the batteries isn't there as promised, so buyers beware! ... show more

    • I'm Loving my Greenworks Blower!

This is a great little blower! I also have a corded blower/vacuum and a gas blower. This blower is the one I grab frequently. It's just so convenient. I find I can run it at 50% power and it does the job. Run time has been around 20 minutes. Noise is load when running full blast but fairly quiet at 50%. All in all I am very satisfied with the performance of this blower. Things I've done with my blower: blow out grass and rocks from my golf cart, dry my vehicle after washing, blow out my home entryway, blow debris from my artificial grass and blow off my patio and furniture. ... show more

So far so good. Don't know why I had not bought it years ago. Plenty of force to move dry leaves from the drive or yard. Light weight so the wife can use it when she wants. Only complaint is the battery last only about 20 minutes when going at top speed. That being said the battery fully charges in less than an hour even when fully discharged. ... show more

I'm at the point where it has been very difficult to start my old faithful gas blower (---an old age thing). Leaves are a rather big deal, both at the front and the back of the house, Sissu trees always shedding leaves! That is exactly why I am so pleased with the GreenWorks! Instantly fires off, no cord pulling, no gas, no plugs! So far may experience has been that it does just as good blowing with so much less hassle When it first arrived I placed the battery in the charger until it was full, then locked it into the blower, pulled the trigger and nothing happened. For sure, I was going to return it, my sweet wife had to do her thing and bravo it was screaming. I was not pulling the trigger all the way down to get it fire off! This is a powerful leaf blower and uses the same batteries as my Greenworks lawnmower. My only complaint is that it emits a high pitched noise so that I find it necessary to wear ear protection when using it. By the way I've had my Greenworks mower for six or seven years now and one of the batteries is just starting to go. That's longer than I expected, and I replaced it with one of the larger form factor batteries like the one that came with this leaf blower. I decided to pay the extra $$$ and get a Greenworks battery rather than take a chance on the SHMGOO or the FRFLAX (not actual names) knock-offs. ... show more

This tool does function as advertised in it's ability to remove leaves at a great speed. However , what I find to dislike is the length of time it holds a charge. The best I have gotten out of it has been 23 minutes. It takes about an hour to recharge. In my case, I have 3/4 acre of yard. I simply could NOT move the leaves as quickly as I had desired. With my gas blower, 2 hours tops. With this one, I'm on my second 4 hour day and still not done. My suggestion is BUT THE SPARE battery. I did today and it is suppose to arrive Saturday. We'll see how using a switch out does in getting this task done. Small jobs: deck, porch, drive way, gutters and outbuilding roofs? It is awesome. Buy the spare if your doing a large yard! ... show more
