I got this at prime day. The price was awesome. Because it’s made of plastic, so after I assembled they were still kind of loose between the motor and tube. It’s enough for the small yard, it can blow away almost all the dirt and leaves off the ground.

While the performance of this blower, in terms of wind speed and volume, is not nearly as good as my 80v Greenworks blower, it does a fine job at clearing leaves. The lower speed/volume is more than offset by the lower weight -- this is a breeze to use (no pun intended) for long stretches compared with the 80v blower. This is my go-to for clearing leaves off of hard surfaces, and for clearing leaves off of mulched planting beds since it is far less likely to move the mulch than my 80v. Once all the leaves are out of the planting beds and off the patio & driveway, I use the 80v blower to move the piles to the curb. This 40v one could also do that, but the 80v is better suited to moving large piles quickly. It uses the same 40v Greenworks as all the other tools in the 40v collection. I find it works fine (in terms of usable run time) with the 2.5Ah battery, but larger capacity 40v ones can also be used. The controls are simple, and I like that it uses a dial rather than a trigger. For me, it makes it easier to use with my arthritis. Not the most powerful one out there, but it holds its own while keeping the weight and arm/hand fatigue to a minimum. Five stars. ... show more

As claimed, this “sweeper “ is good for “cleaning leaves and debris from hard surfaces”, which is what I was looking for. It IS NOT a good substitute for a yard leaf blower, if that is what you were looking for.

My second Greenworks blower, the first still works only the battery finaly went out. Charges faster than original, and is more quiet and lighter.

I have a number of Greenworks tools and are happy with all of them. This is smaller than I imagined but works well. I still occasionally use a more powerful electric blower for big jobs but it's a hassle since it is a plug in model. This is great to quickly clear some debris from the yard or driveway. I purchased without the battery since I had one that works from another Greenworks tool. There are at least two batteries that will work. pretty sure the battery I have has less power but works for my purposes. ... show more

This blower is so lightweight (even with the 40v battery attached)!! I was amazed! It also works great. Has many settings, and very powerful on the highest speed (6). The only thing I could wish for is that the on/off switch should be near the thumb on the handle so it would be easier to use. The battery lasted about 15-20 minutes. Since I have other 40v Greenworks tools, I was able to switch out batteries quickly and easily. ... show more
