This is a great bed frame. It had all the pieces with it and just can't believe how sturdy it is because it is also easy to move around. We are using it for guests so we bought a king koil 20 inch air mattress. It is very comfortable and I am very pleased as we are older and just cant move around heavy stuff like we use to. I would recommend this bed frame and if I needed to get another one, I would buy this one again. I'm very happy with this bed frame. The measurements are exactly what I need for it to sit just below the window sill. The parts are well made, the instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put the frame together by myself in under two hours (with interruptions). I've read other reviews about mattresses slipping on the frame because there is no lip to hold it in place. I have a queen size and the mattress I have is quite heavy and solid, so I do not experience the mattress slipping at all. I've slept on the bed for a month now and haven't experienced any squeaking or noise at all. ... show more

The frame is as described. My husband put it together with no issues. However, the box spring and mattress slide around on the frame. There is no lip to prevent sliding. This is annoying.

Son got married and we had a smaller bed in his room. But now when they visit, we needed something larger to make them feel at home so got this. Super impressed with the quality of this-yes it has a ton of pieces/parts. But, the directions are pretty clear what to do/when to do it (think IKEA). I only messed up on one step as it didn't show which side should be facing up on the footboard, so when the holes didn't line up for the center leg i knew i messed up-easy fix. I thought it was awesome that they actually included EXTRA screws and hardware (how many times does that happen?? Usually they will short you something!!). That being said, i'm mechanically inclined and love to do things myself, so assembly may be slightly daunting for others that aren't comfortable with DIY stuff. But set everything out and group it according to the number stickers that are on each piece, lay out your hardware and keep it in the bag (also lettered), and don't tighten everything up tight until the bed is fully assembled and you will be fine! Thought it was a great value, looks good, and we just put a queen foam mattress on it and it super sturdy and quiet. Would definitely buy this again. ... show more

I just put this bed together and it seems to be very solid, it was easy to put together and the directions were very clear. I wish the headboard was higher now that I see it assembled, especially once the mattress is placed on top (12 inch). All parts arrived in great condition, no missing pieces, however there is a strange smell that has slightly subsided since yesterday I'm hopeful it will disappear totally with a wipe down. Update: The strange smell was NOT the bed, but the rubber mallet included in the box to aid in putting the bed together. ... show more

Look, no one is going to mistake this bedframe for an antique wrought iron bed or one from an expensive designer -- but it's a good, solid, simple bedframe. I assembled it myself in about an hour with no problems. Instructions were clear, all the parts were there and undamaged, and the tools were included. I've slept on it nightly for about two months, and it doesn't squeak. There are no guards to hold the mattress in place, but my mattress weighs a ton, so it hasn't moved much. Plenty of support bars for the mattress. I went through and re-tightened all the bolts after the first month - and I would definitely recommend doing this yourself, as most of mine had loosened just a bit. There's a huge amount of space underneath this thing! Could be used for storage... but my cats have claimed it as a sheltered playground. It's not a fancy designer bed, but it does what it needs to do. ... show more
